Is it possible to increase mental energy?

As the title says ive been wondering if it was possible to increase mental energy for subs or if it is a fixed thing.

  1. Cut out unproductive habits such as watching youtube/netflix when you don’t need to. Electronics seem to “use up” mental energy rather fast, which you’ll notice when you spend a few days without them.
  2. Clearing your mind through meditation. For the best effect, you’d need to go beyond simply relaxing your body and focus on prolonging your focus on a given meditation object. Once you get to the point where you get absorbed so much that you feel your body get flooded with bliss, you’ll also notice your overall mental energy pool becoming bigger.
  3. Good diet/working out regularly.

Goldenbird has good recommendations.

Mine would be to find time to take in some sun, breath in some fresh air. Let your worries, concerns, dilemnas go, if only for a few moments if you don’t have lots of free time.

I like to visualize that the radiance of the sun is beaming into my thought body, and gradually ‘lightening’ any heaviness, fogginess, and uplifting any battles I have going on in my head.

  1. like training muscles, do things that require more mental energy. Go to your limits each time and cross that s bit.
  2. do energetic practices that cultivate mind energy. Its a broad topic so you have to investigate this further. Also explaining this depends on your own level within these types of practices. Try khan black for starters.
  3. winnwnegers image streaming and other techniques. Win wenger says that the caratoid artery has a flap that opens up to let air and oxygen into the brain. The brain uses what it normally uses or what it needs. The flap can be trained to open wider and for longer.
  4. supplements (not a big fan)
  5. modules for your custom like Energetic Development XI

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

This is so typical for people who practice new age spirituality and can not get out of their head, so they use more mental techniques to fight batles… As above so below…

Edit : @Sage_Ninjistic, by chance are you also vegan(that is how you vibe)?

Nothing New Age about the sun.

You ever felt down/dismal/depressed and gone outside and felt the sunlight and, though it might not have improved everything, you felt somewhat better at least?

That’s the point.

That, and not only myself but other people have noticed that sunlight and visualizing using the sun is a good method for relieving recon.

I don’t consider myself ‘New Age’ and don’t really practice new age things at this point. I find the ‘teachings’ to be incomplete, at best.

Edit: I assume that you assumed that I’m a New Age person by the fact that I had an issue with your reply to 7empest’s post about her YouTube channel the other day.

I’m a fan of the Kyballion, I haven’t read it in years.

As Within, So Without is more relevant to the post, however.

No.

I’m not sure why this didn’t come to mind earlier, but another suggestion that goes in hand with what’s recommended here on the forum is journaling. Not necessarily journaling as we do here on the forum.

I find immediate relief from what a mentor of mine called freeform writing.

You basically get a piece of paper, and write down literally everything that comes to your mind as it comes, doing your best to not judge what’s coming from you onto the paper. In experience, you may notice random things coming to your thoughts. Sometimes, it’ll just repeat. But, similarly to how I can feel subs processing, I can literally feel my mind shifting, at times even physically and then a sweet little relaxation that goes into my body, as well.

Some of my best results from subs 2-3 years ago came when I actively did this, daily.

After you’re done, rip it up or burn it as it suits you, and discard the contents as you please.

When I used to do this often, I remember that my head was astoundingly clear, in a way that my best meditative practices didn’t get me. And, rather quickly.

I do this too except with instead of writing it down physically, I type it out on my phone.

I find that effects to be pretty similar to writing on paper and it’s convenient to be able to do this whenever. So once I’m done, I just delete everything and boom - it’s gone.

The transition from writing negative, self-loathing thoughts to positive, empowering ones in just one session of doing this is powerful stuff. I go through the exact same thing you mentioned sometimes while doing this too. Mental relaxation followed by full body tingling and relaxation. Whew.

I use this whenever I’m in a pit and I need a tool to climb out of it. Highly recommended.

I’ve done it on a notepad on my phone as well and you’re right, it gets the job done in a similar way. I just find there’s a lot of power to writing things physically for whatever reason.

Yes sunlight is important for welbeing, no argument here, nut not equating it in visualisation though

I am saying that you - as a (stating the obvious) very mind identified person - use the same energy that creates the problem to solve the problem. It is both shen energy. Or if you want to understand it from a different perspective, let’s say eastern perspective, you lack experiental understanding of using lower center to transmute your mind problems. That is why you think as within, so wihtouth. and not as above so below. Pistol vs bazooka

What’s your basis for not using the sun in visualization?

There are of course higher energies to work with, and I do, but I have no idea about what level the OP works at, thus, the very basic idea of the sun. Violet flame is one.

I’m not sure if we would agree on how to use the word obvious. In fact, the majority of my posts are about how I feel, not think.

The Sun is physical. The mental does not correspond to the physical, it’s actually above it.

So, I disagree with the way you put it but I agree that in a certain way of looking at it, it is using lower energy to work with higher energy - denser energy to finer, in other words.

However, it’s a visualization. And the purpose is focusing light, which comes from above the mental realm, into the mental body. The sun is simply a focal point that most people can understand.

There’s levels to my advice.

I have yet to study the Chinese way of looking at things.

Though I don’t know anything about Chinese medicine or their outlook on the body, to state that I lack experiental anything is a gross assumption.

I work with my own energy daily. Even before I started Khan Black. I have various practices, one of which involves working on the flow of energy through the various centers of my bodies. I call them chakras; others call them other things.

For example, Sihk/Hindu mantras, such as Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Se So Hung I have found to be particularly affective in doing exactly that, amongst other modalities.

I work with transmuting my energies into a higher form each day, as well.

I lack ‘experiential understanding’ through the lens of Chinese medicine, not experience.

I have considered looking more into it though, I find @Malkuth’s posts to be enlightening.

No, in general I don’t think of either, I live it. I was talking only in context of the posts. And I’m not sure how either a pistol or bazooka comparison between two immutable laws is actually useful.

I get where you are coming from since I study Chinese traditions and have a strong distate for how New Age corrupts old teachings without proper investigations.
That being said, these arguments are futile here because what counts in the subliminal community is if something works for a person, no matter where it originates or how much sense it makes to you. I think most people are simply looking for results, so if something works for them, there is no point in explaining to them how the Huangdi Neijing or Ramana Maharshi would view the whole thing.
For example, have you ever asked yourself why the Chinese visualize or feel the microcosmic orbit, and yet the Indian traditions have no corresponding energetic structure, but rather follow a system of chakras that go straight up and do not loop around the body? What about the energetic pouches of Castaneda’s followers? It’s not all made up, because all these traditions’s followers can work on these things, feel them and use them for healing etc. What does that tell you about the mind?

The Indian system does not explicitly mention the “Microcosmic Orbit,” but it does have its own rich and complex understanding of energy pathways and centers within the body, serving similar purposes.
GoldenBird has a point though, not going to dereail this thread any further, you can dm me if you want to Ninji

You seek the logic behind your feelings, questioning why you feel a certain way and what external or internal factors are contributing to these emotions.

Think  about it … or not. my last 2 cents in this thread

Excellent recommendations fellas

Writing is an hypnotic process.
You think, you use your whole body while writing it down, see it and it’s in your mind again while being outside.
You create/ liberate what’s just a thought into reality. In this case to destroy it.

But by drawing letters by hand you’re much more invested in the process, compared to just hit the right spot on a smooth surface.

Mental energy may be understood as the ability or willingness to engage in cognitive work. It is distinct from physical energy, and has mood, cognition, and motivation domains. Concepts closely related to mental energy include vigor and fatigue.

The best way to get it is not to make a task-list, you have to experience it.

When you have inner peace you are much attracted to things that make you healthy.

You can do this on a beach, listening to the sound of the waves on the shore line. You can visit a park and listen to birds singing.

Or just listen to Love Bomb.

Observed the way you interact with people, make decision, and the way you feel.
