I read something a few years ago about how real wealth isn’t possible without magick although I have yet to see verifiable proof and it seems a bit odd that wealthy people are performing rituals but I could be wrong

It may work for some people, but the fact that even one person is successful without doing that means it is NOT an essential element of the model for how to be successful.
Meaning it’s idiosyncratic and can be left out of the model.

Not true. You can acquire wealth without performing rituals and the such.
One of my mentors and good friend, an eCommerce guru, is probably the most secular person you’d ever meet and he’s very successful and rich.
Some of them do engage in magickal practice, however.
