My personal view on all this is that this is a great argument for combining the virtue scripting from Hero Origins (and the effect of the Revelation series) with Emperor Will To Power. Maybe with Survival Instinct thrown in there 
It’s been clear that this abuse of technology has been evolving and gaining ground for a long time, and that it would reach its ultimate climax. But it would be wrong to adopt a fatalistic attitude towards this situation. Whether you look at it from a religious viewpoint (faith in God) or a psychological framework (adopting a problem solving mentality rather than a victim one), using the subs to consciously guide towards a better outcome I think has to be the goal, otherwise what’s the point of using them?
I’d love to hear what kind of stacks people would design to combat these issues.
