I think you have to find what you’re interested in. Otherwise you’re gonna be lost among a sea of everyone doing the exact same thing and trying to make money.

Dropshipping, blogging, niche marketing, etc. is all dependent on how much you can stand out. Is the motivation money or freedom?

This isn’t a knock on you. But it feels like everyone nowadays tries to be an entrepreneur just drop shipping stuff from Alibaba or something like that. I don’t think it’s sustainable, I think it’s getting oversaturated and you have to do more to stand out. And the less you do stand out or have a solid identity, the harder it’s going to get in the future when everyone is competing for attention.

Real passive income is the result of hard work… pick something you’ll actually enjoy doing, because you will need to do it for a while to build up revenue streams.

Don’t believe the guru hype that says if you buy X course you’ll make $10k/day within a month dropshipping fidget spinning survival mugs, or whatever the latest fad is. Plus have you seen the shipping delays and other issues lately? I’m surprised anyone is being successful dropshipping anything these days.

  • Do you love art? Creating designs, images, etc? Then maybe selling print-on-demand art products is for you.
  • Are you really good at a certain craft or skill? Make a course teaching others how to do it.
  • Do you have huge piles of cash available? Invest in real estate… guessing that one isn’t the most likely option.

Pick the role you want to play, and find a way to monetize it in a way that you can step out of the grind as quickly as possible. That does take time though… unless, as @friday mentioned, you get very lucky and hit a specific crypto coin at just the right moment.

You want money that just appears, without doing any work though? Apply for welfare, or whatever the equivalent is, wherever you are in the world.

Money is (generally) the result of putting in work, if it were so easy to make gobs of passive income online, don’t you think everyone would be doing it?

I actually am investing in crypto but until the day comes when i make money off of it i need something that replaces my income. What crypto are you currently eyeing or invested in.?

I actually do have a somewhat big pile of cash to invest in real estate but i would like my money to come from something i create online and then just sells itself.

Id love to have an online business where my products help improve peoples health. It’s just i feel this niche is already saturated so it discourages me.

My apologies for jumping to conclusions then! You’re quite literally the first person I’ve seen asking that question who didn’t want it all for free, and without doing work :upside_down_face:

The transaction can be automated, but the days of internet ventures running themselves (the “build it and they will come” mindset) is long gone. Need to really work on building up traffic.

You’d think so, but then along comes something totally new that changes the game. Personal development is a prime example. I know people who declared that there was nothing really new since the days of Jim Rohn, but look at what SC is doing. Absolute game-changer for mindset, and even healing.

What do you want to do? What gifts have you got to share with the world that you can monetize?

Improving people’s health is hugely broad. Do you mean physical health? Mental health?
Within those subsets… diet? exercise? supplements? workout routines that help people get shredded?
Or maybe a meditation program to help people be calm, or something along those lines.

People will always have issues and need help with something, so in that regard, it can’t really ever be saturated. Until we get medical nanotech that just fixes everything, that is… but even Ray Kurzweil thinks that’s still a ways off.

I think starting this topic here was a decent first action to take.

It shows that you’re open minded, willing to reach out to others, motivated to communicate, and active.

Not a bad start at all.

So, what are some more…

Well, what kinds of activities do you gravitate to and find yourself doing a lot? Every activity–even if you think it’s a 'useless leisure activity–gives clues about your patterns of consistent motivation, focus, and problem-solving.

It could be accurately said that all jobs/careers come down to 2 basic elements: 1) Some form(s) of problem-solving, and 2) Some context(s) for social engagement. (Exchange is the basis of economics.)

People who work happily are those who have found satisfying responses to those 2 points.

Within those two elements, there are 1000 ways to break things down. But it can be helpful sometimes to simplify matters, pull the camera back, and just look at those two basic questions.

  1. What kinds of problems do I enjoy solving or do I find myself solving even when I do not have to do so?

  2. What are my ideal forms, levels, and contexts for communicating and connecting? (e.g., huge party, in a quiet library or monastery, by e-mail with long periods of solitary time, with teams of people, and so on)

Here’s another point: success is magnetic. It attracts more success.

So, once you know some things that you love to do and some contexts in which you love to do them, just start doing them. Start doing them with enjoyment. And talking, writing or communicating about them to others who care about those things.

Musicians go to jam at bars, clubs, or studios. Academics go to conferences. Business people go to expos, trade shows, and conventions.

No matter what your ‘thing’ is, it will have some contexts where other people who do it or who love it, go to hang out and ‘do their thing’. These days with virtual engagement, it’s even easier in some ways.

You basically want to—in a non-desperate way—just engage with and interact with and communicate with people who like to work with similar material and solve similar problems. As you do so, opportunities will naturally arise. It’s natural.

That’s long-term advice. Over the course of carrying it out, you may move from one job to the next until you work out your own system and situation. But if you’re at a ‘job’ that you know is contributing to your Vision, you won’t hate the job.

When you have an actual creative or purpose-driven focus, your job becomes your patron or your Investor rather than your boss or your Master.

Final piece of advice:

Think in terms of an entrance strategy, rather than in terms of an exit strategy. Focus more on where you want to go, than on where you want to leave. The former is a recipe for fulfillment. The latter is a recipe for confusion.

The reaon i asked you to jot down five roles/jobs that you might be interested in is, i want you to give some thought as to what might appeal to you based on your interestd and what might suit you.

I really dont see the pointing in saying “why not buy and sell cryptos” “why not trade” “why not sell xyz”
