How do you work with subliminals?

How do you know exactly what fear you need to adress or what action you need to take to resolve current recon? Share your tricks for introspection

For me, my most recent recon was losing hope because I didn’t have any external progress towards my goals. I resolved it by refining my action taking (did more of it and changed the way I do it).

But it doesn’t always work for me because sometimes I don’t understand the actual cause of recon, and I usually just either have to wait it out (for however long it would take), or get lucky enough to stumble upon a piece of info/life situation that would resolve this recon automatically

What would be your recommendations, aside from new anti recon tech?

I use ChatGPT as my personal psychological and spiritual consultant and “hidden beliefs exposer” on a daily basis. It helps to accelerate the whole self-reflection process 10x.

It goes perfectly hand in hand with journaling and for the proper understanding of the topics that I am reconciling, for the understanding of why I am reconciling them, and what the best next steps are on how to proceed from there.

Is there any particular prompt you are using?

My prompts are sometime pages long.
I speak to it like I would speak to an all-knowing-entity.

What works for me is to simply tell the AI absolutely ALL of your feelings and the reasons for why you think you have these feelings.
Then ask it to analyze these feelings and reasons for cognitive biases and distorted perceptions.
Then ask it for new undistorted perspectives and completely new POV’s.

The more you tell the AI, the better it can analyze what is really going on and help you make the unconscious conscious.

For example:
“I am feeling this is and that towards this and that…”
“This happens every time when this and that happens…”
“I assume that I feel this way because this and that…”
“A part of me feels like that this and that…”
“Also consider this and that…”
“My perception about this and that might be this and that because of this and that…”
“These might come from this and that experiences I have made…”
“Please tell me other unbiased perspectives about this and that…”
“Where in my thinking process am I making distorted assumptions about this and that…?”
“What choices and perceptions would I have when this and that is healed / integrated etc…”
Etc.

Thank you!

Going to try it out

I’m gonna sound like a broken record, but if all else fail, just use the tried & true microloops.

Lower it until you find the sweetspot where the recon is manageable.

Then slowly increase it over time.

It’s like building your spice tolerance.
You can start by eating the spiciest food you can get while taking action to make the pain more bearable like drinking milk etc,
or you can just start from a level of spiciness that’s still manageable (your sweetspot) then slowly increase it over time as you get more used to it.

that’s what I’m doing but I’m asking more in line of building up introspection and self awareness to be able to consciously aid what subliminal is working on

Honestly that’s the same thing i’ve been dealing with.
It’s always about gaining more awareness & clarity. Either it’s to get more results or to manage recon.

Can’t fix something if you don’t know what needs to be fixed.
Even then, finding the right approach to take to fix it is another matter on its own.

The new techs; NSE, anti recon etc seems to be geared to help us with exactly this.

So far, journaling & taking action, keep experimenting, are some of the best ways we have. Using AI is also a good idea.

Personally, what i found to help me a lot is to take a break from the sub that you think you’ve lost clarity on. Or just take a long washout. Sometimes the contrast between when you are under the sub’s influence and when you’re not is enough to help you gain awareness & clarity (Obligatory non-official recc, lol)

You need to notice your results and observe which mental patterns get triggered when you’re in recon. This is how you know what’s being worked on.

The best way to aid your growth is to minimize recon by finding your sweet spot and taking breaks when needed.

Another important point is choosing to face recon courageously when it arises, instead of cowering in the anxiety it causes. You need to consciously rein in your psychological response to recon.

The best you can do is focus on something external rather than letting it pull you inward. Physical activities that require real effort usually help a lot.

can you elaborate on what exactly is a “mental pattern” in your understanding? And maybe provide an example, if possible

Mental patterns are thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that repeat in response to a stimulus, like feeling anxious at the sight of a dog or getting upset at certain behaviors in other people.

Similarly, recon tends to trigger certain mental patterns, and if they’re topical (related to the themes of your subs), they usually point to the underlying issue that needs to be addressed—like procrastinating when running a productivity sub. When it happens, it can be really valuable to inquire why you procrastinate and try to find the right solution.

Something I’ve been doing recently is being more aware of which parts of my body hold tension and relaxing them. I’ve found that recon for me is usually very deep and as it moves to the surface of conscious awareness it tries to get pushed back down through muscular tension.

I’ll notice the tension before anything else. That is kind of a cue that something is being processed. I try to remain mindful of it otherwise it’s really easy to link that feeling to a current event or something unrelated and I can momentarily derail what was actually supposed to be processed.

For me a less cognitive approach is better. But that’s also because intellectualization was my defense mechanism for a looooong time and I can talk my way out of a lot of feelings without doing any real inner growth.

The newest anti-recon tech (in GLM) seems to lower the “cognitive” response to recon significantly, making you more aware of the bodily tensions you mentioned. I’ve just posted this in my journal:

I do exactly the same and try to shift my focus to things or activities that help me relax physically. Even visualizing and deep breathing help.

I suppose that something like the Stonelike modul could help.

What’s interesting is that so far, I haven’t felt that inner pull toward introspection that we once talked about as low-level recon seems to have been smoothed out quite a lot. However, I still get relevant insights about what’s being worked on, but they are brief and “peaceful”.

I haven’t run anything with anti recon yet but it sounds like it helps disarm defense mechanisms unique to that individual that keeps recon in a state of limbo that perpetuates discomfort. Will be interesting how it manifests for others since everyone’s mind is so different.

I see, thank you. That makes sense, I’ll try observing it in myself

That’s interesting. I haven’t really noticed any difference in body tension before/after subs

Is it universal response for you (from any sub), or is it specifically for subs that have tension release as one of the goals (like dragon reborn, if I remember correctly)?

Ye that was 4o for me to 5o sucks ass

Yup, any sub. I think it’s because I’ve struggled in life so much. My mind is reluctant to just let anything pass through as far as influence goes because change has been internalized as a detriment to safety.

You get recon and see yourself being irrationally afraid/angry about something trivial.

Then you realize “Oh, that’s a subconscious blockage, it’s not real, it’s just old programming”

Then if you’re like me, you make an utter mess trying to run from it, and eventually resolve and integrate it.

Long story short, the subs make it pretty obvious.

Follow the pain, you’ll see where you need work.
