How do you know if you have recon? (Custom related)

This might seem like a obvious question but my question is more user specific. I have a custom hom with stark which is working pretty well but out of impatience I ran two loops yesterday. Everything seemed fine but I noticed I was a lot more slow (Didn’t know what to say and was silent/awkward sometimes) yesterday and a lot less social then I usual am when I went out to the club with some friends and today I noticed I was a lot more tired and less social then usual and had a 3 hour nap. My question is, is this temporary and it’s just recon or does this have something to do with one of the modules I have in my custom?

My custom (Logically my custom is supposed to make me even more social but it’s not so I’m a bit confused):

You got overexposed. Just take a longer break.

That’s the phrase that’ll probably trigger many people’s Over-Exposure Alert.

  1. The fact that you were feeling impatient (a typical recon reaction) suggests that you were already in recon before you even played the two loops, then

  2. Actually playing the two loops is likely to have intensified things to the point of over-exposure

Various strategies for resolving this have been brought up on the forum, and some have been formally confirmed.

  1. Sun exposure, particularly earlier in the day (remember your sunscreen)

  2. Ingestion of carbs/sweet foods

  3. Working out/Exercising (my own strategy of choice)

  4. Put time and energy into working on your real-world projects and activities related to the area covered by this subliminal (aka ‘action’)

There are others. Find one that works for you, and then when you come back (after having rested and recovered a bit), it’s being suggested to try shorter loop lengths (3- min, 5-min, 8-min, etc.) and/or space out your play days a bit further. (Haven’t tried this one myself, but many people seem to be doing so fruitfully.)

One of the paradoxes of ZP is that sometimes it appears to work more powerfully with less exposure.

Both, very likely.

It’s not because there’s anything wrong about your module selection. Custom looks great.

It’s just that the areas targeted by your custom are likely to be the same areas where you experience your recon effects.

If one overtrains one’s right biceps by doing too many heavy biceps curls, then it will be the muscles of the right biceps that experience soreness.

Just rest it up and recover a little bit. Use your Recon Coping Strategy of choice. Then, Warm up ‘the muscle’ and stretch it with Action and you should be pleased by the results.
