I would put it this way. Rebirth helps you to make the internal adjustments that match up to the external changes you’re working to make in your life.
In your above example, if you’re working on adjusting your sleeping and wakingcycle and routines, you will work out some sort of a plan. You’ll adjust your sleep environment to make it sufficiently cool, dark, free of stimulating influences. You’ll adjust your activity level to take advantage, for example, of the compensatory post-exercise drop in body temperature that facilitates falling asleep. You will adjust your eating times and your nutritional content, so that your digestive system is relatively calm at bedtime and your internal system is not processing sleep-disruptive stimulants. You’ll introduce calming or rest-facilitating activities in the 1 or 2 hours prior to bed time. And so on and so on.
As you do some or all of those above-described actions, you will also play Rebirth. And Rebirth will help to impart to you an internal flexibility that makes you less resistant and more open to changes in your routine. Otherwise, it would take longer for you to adapt to the changes. That internal receptiveness and flexibiilty will also add the momentum of success to your attempts to make the change. With each additional success, you’ll become even more effective at integrating helpful routines and actions.
And in that way, your lifestyle will gradually shift to integrate and align with your chosen habit or direction.
That’s how I would see it working.
