By which I mean, of course, if you let bodily fluids out, they contain the toxic materials. But for example, if you are on retention, it could just mean the toxic materials leave your body in another way? I.e. if you do injaculation for example, a little bit still enters the bladder. There’s also a bit of nightfall, right?
I am sure the body has enough ways to get rid of that.

I, personally, think the most energy you can have is high fat diet and not shooting your load all the time. I feel like more men on retention would have issues if this was really a problem. And I never heard of negative side-effects.
Mind you that most “retentioners” usually only go about 2-3 months without a load. Maybe it’s just a lack of information.
Then again, considering how much energy is wasted with each ejaculate (except for reproduction) I’ll go with the odds
