Absolutely, to preface everything EOG 2 feels much more relevant to B2B then B2C at least in a sales sense, and probably applies to more corporate work environments.
Some of the modules like Client Avatar/Marketing/Conversion Catalyst, strongly apply to B2B when you are involved more in prospecting and researching companies, mapping out buying groups/who you need to speak to, creating messaging via emails and linked in that resonate with those avatars, and then in my case with a 12 month long sales cycle- tailoring that journey. From building curiosity through the initial outreach, uncovering challenges and RoI, demonstrating value on Demo’s, and being able to communicate this all to multiple different stakeholders who are involved in making the decision who and tailor your communication and messaging to them based on there role in the company and day to day challenges. In B2C, those modules just weren’t very relevant, but in my role- all of that is the name of the game.
I have seen a strong increase in those skills- via taking more active interest in learning, building stronger connections with mentors at work, etc.
There are more universal modules, such as the communication, leadership, biohacking, and productivity which I feel just make you a more consistent, and dependable employee (or entrepreneur/leader) that have shifted the way with which I engage in my work. Still, I feel because I go into office a couple times a week, I can utilize these modules more by being the one who shows up early, goes out of my way to help my teammates, networking with leadership in person. All of this is invaluable in a corporate setting.
My performance has steadily improved, but it’s hard to compare from a just “I’m selling better” standpoint, because that really isn’t how my company operates. It’s a quality over quantity environment, where we are already an enterprise sized company, and don’t want to just take on more and more clients, but have specific ICP accounts we are targeting, so it’s a slow process to get the right people at the right time, and more consultative vs we closed or didn’t close the deal.
Biggest result is that I got an interview for a promotion last month. Made it to the final round, and lost out due to someone actually taking a demotion for the position who already worked closely with the hiring manager and just had quite a bit more tenure then me. Was told I had the position if it wasn’t for that, but basically to reapply in a couple months and also reccomended other options for lateral movement in company if I was interested.
It’s helped me to standout at a very large company instead of just blend in, in a pretty short span of time. Most people at my company take 2-3 years before being considered for internal promotion.
I’ve probably ran 2-3 cycles of EOG 2 now, and feel like for my current position I’ve accomplished most of the objectives. To me- that’s just showing up as a skilled, dependable, consistent employee where I’ve demonstrated leadership and competence and I am viewed as someone they’d like to keep and promote. All that said- EOG 2 is very subtle, and organic feeling. These are things where I didn’t notice an instant increase in x or y skill, but over the course of time started to occur almost subconsciously, through trainings, conversations at work, feeling slightly better and eager to show up and give my best. I’d say on the surface, it’s not a very “exciting” title to run, but one I’m glad I’m did and am now seeing the results and all that it accomplished.
I’m running Reforged primarily now as my foundation/long term base, as it is providing basically all of what Emperor does as a strong foundation that addresses all major areas of my life that are important to me, but feels smoother- less recon, and feels to have less drawbacks then emperor in the workplace, and social environments.
Replacing EOG 2 with revelation of mind, because it’s a great cognitive and productivity enhancer for work, and I want to take a cycle to get clarity on my next steps, both career and relationship wise, and to gain a deeper understanding of my purpose. Have been getting more dedicated to my yoga classes as well which it seems to benefit.
