Getting urges to listen to the sub more, increase exposure or reconsider?

Just looking for opinions and experience of this. Sometimes I find myself wanting to listen to a sub more. I’m unsure if this is my mind wanting more of the script or if it’s more likely misdirected energy.

By misdirected energy I mean the desire for change being funneled into the most convenient and accessible solution. But it’s a trap because listening to the subliminal itself deceptively seems like action when it’s not.

So you end up in this loop of preparing for change, but not actually engaging in change. Right now I’m sticking with the listening instructions and 3 min loops and haven’t acted on these urges. Just curious to hear others thoughts on it.

I think this is quite difficult to classify. Some will immediately say that this is recon.
On the other hand, you should listen to your intuition and feelings.
As long as the maximum times are not exceeded, an increase should not be a problem.
At 3 minutes, there is still plenty of room to go up to the max. 15 minutes.
There is still a lot to experiment with.

Yeah it’s a tough one. I want to trust my intuition but I’ve had many times in the past where I thought increasing exposure was a good idea then it backfired. Something feels missing at 3 minute loops but I don’t think going up in time is the answer. Maybe more consistency across the week with the sub. I’ve been thinking about switching to 1 sub a week and rotating each week vs having all three in rotation.

Yeah, that’s a good idea.

I’ve always had problems with more than two subs. However, I’m currently trying three in my stack. Let’s see if that’s not too much, as I often felt that the results were not as good. I think everyone has to find their own way to find the optimal listening patterns.
But the intuition and the feeling during and after the hearing is very important for me.

I just recently went up to 3 subs, well past 2 months really. I think it can work if you’re not trying to build to something. But if you’re still doing heavy growth it delays results. Maybe the desire to listen more is just cutting back to one sub only, building myself up and going back to 3 once I’m in a better place.

Yes, I also felt that it delayed the results, although considering the synergy of the titles, there should not be much of a delay. But maybe it’s just too much input.
It’s best to listen to just one sub, but somehow you always want too much at once. lol

Lol all the time. But I have to give it a shot I guess. I don’t think I’ve ever run a sub standalone for an extended period of time so I have to test it

Why not? You’ll quickly see if it’s enough or if there’s more room for a second sub. I am also always too impatient. That is really a shortcoming.

Appreciate the input man. I think this’ll be a long overdue change for how I approach these subs.

I got this urge with RoS and went straight from 5-15 min, as I got such benefits after one short listen. I figured more would be better. But I found it was too much, like overload. Maybe I could not cope with the level of energy influx. I became agitated and stayed up late and dumped the excess energy.

How about giving 5 min a go and seeing how you feel, as it’s not a huge jump up.

I wouldn’t give one hard and fast answer to this question, but I’d say ‘journal through it’.

We can probably think of 100 situations in life that look appealing from the front-end, but not so much from the back-end. (Anyone had a hangover recently?) But journaling gives a more objective standpoint that helps to ensure that you won’t just be controlled by momentary enthusiasm, discouragement, or fluctuating moods and energy levels.

I was just writing about the same (or similar) topic over on Saint’s journal. I’m running three large customs (in Terminus2 no less). I think this approach has probably led to significantly more gradual results, but yes, I truly want that synergy. I want it enough that I’m willing to wait longer.

I tried the stack ROS with ROM and I would say that after few hours it reduced all the urges to listen to more subs. I was like you @Starman when listening to ROM I wanted more but it seems to stop with ROS. I will see on the long run of course ! It looks like effortless discipline !

I’d be at your place I’d go this way :

Is it a craving something I want?
Or is it something I just feel would help my progress?

Identify the two sensations, one will be stronger, very different origins.

I’d say no for the first, yes for the second
Anyway, like mentioned in this thread you can just try a few more mins
