Getting new headphones would like them to be good for subs aswell,

So my old WH1000XM4 have started acting up. Sometimes it’s a beep beep, then a sound that sounds like a bomb, literally happened at the airport once, funny story.

I would like headphones that work with my phone, preferably Bluetooth, but I want no loss of subliminal power. I haven’t noticed as much effect from my headphones lately, so I was thinking the speakers are just messed up and it’s reducing the power. Like even some songs at high pitch the audio crack at now,

What headphones are currently recommended for ZP? I checked the forum and the advice page, but would love to know which headphones you love that are giving you crazy results. I was first thinking of just getting a new pair of WH1000XM4, but I’m not sure if the noise canceling option or ambient sound gets in the way of subs. Preferably, I would love to have noise canceling, but it has to be able to be turned off for subs.

Grateful for any ideas or feedback.

I only really use earphones (but high quality ones, as I’m an audiophile lol), so I don’t know.
But I have friends who live and breathe headphones, so can ask around and get back to you

If you don’t mind sharing, may I ask what kind of price range you’d prefer? Then I can pass that along to my friends and get appropriate suggestions

Im a audiophile too, The reason i’d like bluetooth is for simplicity, when im out walking or something,

Anything below 200-400 is fine,

Appreciate it thank you

Great, a fellow audiophile
can I just check, which currency is the 200-400 in? Could be dollars, but from your username, could equally be SEK lol

I had Sennheiser’s Momentum 4 Wireless headphones, the design was retro (like a pilot from WWII) it can last forever (60 hours), then Marshall Major IV but the grip was too much for my head - I give them away on Christmas and I could hear them complaining.

Sony WH-1000XM4 is alright than the new version, and I have used that and Bose QuietComfort Ultra. Both were given to me. The first one I gave it to my mom.

I go with comfort, a balance of noise cancelling features - not too much that I can’t sense the outside world anymore. Sony has this feature that limits the volume so you can still hear people talking.

Dollar, sek i would expect donald duck headphones for

Right now im looking at senheiser momentum 4, or PX7 S2e

I use the DT 990 Pro and it feels good for everything, including subs and making music. Comfortable, too.

Just look that you can connect them with a cable. SC is recommending wired headphones because they don’t know how Bluetooth encryption might change the subliminal input.

Good idea the momentum 4 have cable as well so they seem perfect and got really good reviews as well,

If you use an iPhone, you may love AirPods Pro 2.

It does, Saint has said to avoid noise canceling and ambient/transparent modes while listening to subs, because theres no way to know how the frequency canceling algorithms from the headphones might interfere with the info delivery of the subliminal audio

Can you link where you saw that?

I’ve seen Saint saying Airpods are fine for sub listening, so that sounds conflicting

I don’t know where I’ve originally seen it, but IIRC he confirmed it in a similar question thread a couple of months ago.

And yes, I know he uses air pods.

Kinda paradoxical.

Edit

Do you know these situations where you’re sure something happend, but later you found out you’re wrong?

The only posts from Saint of Fire that mention Bluetooth are from before 2020.

So I guess I had a wrong memory.

Maybe it’s one of those “not recommended but good enough for me”.
I did listen with a $1-2 earphone and an almost half broken headset for a cycle each. Still powerful.
So maybe there were some downsides to airpods, but the subliminal messages that remain even after that were still impactful, which he deemed enough for his needs.

I’ve been using Truthear HEXA 1DD+3BA quite a long while. I’d say try these out. There are really good.

(Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite - Big shout out to these IEMS, insanely good for gaming, music etc)

@Layman What are you using?

Hey Moon, these days, the Fir Audio Xenon 6 (Xe6) and the 64 Audio Volür.

I mostly listen to the latter one, with the Xe6 thrown in for those days when nothing but skull-shaking bass will suffice lol.
In fairness, the Xe6 is a lot more refined than just being a bass cannon; detail retrieval is among the best I’ve ever heard, but they’re definitely a unique flavour

I’d add that I particularly like these two IEMs as they have the ATOM modules, that vent air pressure (and also allow you to fine tune the sound signature FTW), thus protecting one’s hearing.
Which I’ve come to appreciate is a precious gift that I don’t want to risk ruining!

Hmmm,

I was looking to upgrade to:

MOONDROP PSYCHE 2DD + 4BA + 4Planar

I got the senheiser momentum 4, as a auidophile holy shit,

These are way better than sony whxm4,

and the subs sound way cleaner, as well,

shokz openfit 2 is what i use right now and they work really well with subs. its super light you barely notice wearing it and sounds amazing and clear
