The simple answer is yes. But it’s a more nuanced answer than that. Are you picking the criteria for the algorithms or buying off the shelf?
If you are picking the criteria than this will help you even deeper in that area, but you have to give this time to truly get into your subconscious to get all the benefits.
But overall, yes this should work just fine for algo trading also.
