I donāt think youāre going to find it best through having resources listed out.
Just my opinion.
Iām guessing that you probably think of yourself as having 5 senses that gather information and then having this other thing that thinks, learns, knows/believes, and organizes your life. You call that second thing your mind.
But just as an experiment, try sometimes relating to your flow of thoughts and internal narration as if it were another, additional flow of sensory information.
Its data are called cognition. Just as the data of the visual channel are called sight. And the data of the auditory channel are called hearing.
The fact that you have eyes, and that your eyes work, does not mean that everything you see will be seen accurately. Right?
And you can have hearing experiences that are inaccurate as well, right? You thought someone said, āGood morningā and they actually said, āWoodās burning.ā or something.
Nothing so strange about either of those, right?
Now, consider that the data of your cognitive channel can also be more accurate or less accurate.
What do you do to check that youāre hearing something accurately?
