Ascension is narrower than Emperor in that regard since it doesn’t contain scripting focused on financial independence as Emperor does. It’s also less advanced than Emperor when it comes to building your sexual freedom and it’s narrowed to improving your seduction skills and enhancing your romance life only whilst Emperor lets you choose if you want to have a “harem” or whatever you desire. Ascension is more about masculine personal growth than building your own empire which is the ultimate goal of Emperor.
