This is one of those wrong place at the right time.
When you fly private you have to plan every step along the way, otherwise you’ll end up miserable. I discipline myself regarding sticking those emotions on the highest level as I know that if I stayed there nothing can’t be wrong.
There is an airport announcement that they will limit private jets only once per hour to maximize the airport for commercial flights, that means I had to wait longer and that could also mean the expenses will higher.
I let a third party handle the flight schedule as they are efficient enough to get the job done. Flying private doesn’t mean you’re immune to airport rules, everyone has to go to the procedures, customs, inspections, etc. you better had a clean manifest otherwise you’ll be on a report and that will be bad for you or a company.
I decided to stay on a elite lounge to wait for the go signal then my pilot told me that something quite personal (family matters) and I said go I didn’t asked question - now I am alone I can’t go home. I decided to leave the third party flight management company handle that for me and that means another expenses.
I have done this before that if you stayed optimistic something good will and always happens to you, a hundred percent. I note what happen just now and felt it as this is what I wanted. But the reality is I have to get out of that place because there is nothing else to do, so I went to the parking lot to get a car to get me to a hotel. Then along the way I met Jason my old friend in college, I can remember he didn’t finished the course but at that stage of our conversation I didn’t asked because he keeps asking lots of question, he said, ‘where to’ and I said, ‘just local…’. I noticed he is carrying this usual luggage for pilots so I interrupt him asking what plane is he flying and he told me, ‘commercials and he is also an instructor…’ wow so I have a pilot and an instructor. He asked me about me and I joke to him, I also ‘like a pilot’ and he asked what type plane I am flying, and I joke, ‘F35’ and we both laughing it loud.
When you worked in an aviation industry you’ll have an extra privilege and most likely a discount as frequent flyer, others had this preferred bank services.
I make used of Jason’s privileges, he called in his connection so we can finally leave that site. He piloted my plane for me and we had lots of uninterrupted conversation.
I had this in my mind how to maximize the used of my private jet as it won’t be productive to park it for nothing and my friend Jason just gave me lots of ways to put it to business. Actually more than what I’m asking for, he help me connect with other private jets companies as well.

I saw a lot of people who started their business from a hobby, you need to have an interest in order for a business to become successful - not thinking about earning or just getting the money (that won’t work).
It could be that the difference between a hobby and a business isn’t passion, it’s whether people open their wallets.
We need to validate with cash, not compliments.

When you come from nothing (as in from a poor family), and you want to give your kids everything.
Then you realize giving them everything teaches them nothing.
My mom told me that there is no such thing as spoiled kids, it just a parent should never confused their presence to their presents. Being a provider to those unhealthy things cannot make you a better parent.
It is being there to his/her mommy and have always time for kids. It is not about how little you talk, it is about how much you say.

Sometimes all it takes is one light, one moment, one act of kindness to change a life.
There is this spot several kilometers from my business, it was too far from the source of electricity, but every time I pass on this spot on daylight lots of kids are curious to see me (not begging for something) so I put up a solar power light on electrical post for that area (there is no official road). In two occasion when I was late passing on this area I saw several people spending their time on the spot. I stop to asked them where they live and told me of an area couple of kilometers going uphill. I order a team to give me a visual with a drone, and I saw these hundreds of families - they have a source of food, water but no electricity, I offered an extension program for them and most especially for their kids. I was surprise how eager these group of people very interested to learn skills trainings. Today I made a lot of new friends.
Never underestimate the power of hope, or the strength of the human spirit.
