Downloading to iphone-is quality uncompromised if it streams from icloud?

So I downloaded my subs to my iphone so I can listen with headphones/on the go.

When I go to my files folder, and I click on the sub audio file to play, I noticed it doesn’t play right away, but first buffers for about 3 seconds. I looked around online and it turns out this is because the file is actually on the cloud, and when I listen to it, it’s being streamed from the cloud.

I just want to be sure-is listening this way ok in the sense that there’s no loss of quality and I am not listening to a compressed version?

I know I’m far from the only member in here who listens from their iphone, so just want to be 100% sure.

I have my subs in the “Files” folder on my iphone. All of themare in folders that are saved on my mac and I cant listen to them unless I “download” them. Once I do, they stay downloaded on my phone and I can listen right away. I dont know what it means but I have no delay when I press play. I recommend it.

This is how it looks on my end

If that is ascension it looks a little smaller than most zp files. I’m that case some quality seems to have been lost.

if it’s Ascension chamber then Im not sure.

Yes it’s Ascension chamber(7 min).

Download VLC, it’s free, and import the files to the app. Google how it’s super easy
