Does sequencing of modules in customs matter?

Does it matter in which order (module #1 slot, #2 slot, etc.) you build your custom? Does it help if like modules are next to each other?
What are the ramifications of having a duplicate entry in a module slot?

Can’t help you, but for clarification,

Do you mean like adding one module multiple times?

You can’t have duplicate modules. My first custom I mistakenly had a module in my list twice, but only one actually gets built into the custom.

I haven’t seen anybody else talk about the order. What I’ve done is just put the cores as my first modules. Then I group together the rest of the modules in terms of what they do.

I do have my LBFH/DRLD custom with LBFH in number 1 slot and my DRLD in the very last slot of modules. My thinking was that if I wanted to micro loop it, I could get the all the LBFH scripting and lighten up on the DRLD if I wanted. I don’t know if it makes any difference though.

Yeah, I only had 9 modules I wanted to use, so I used the same one I did for module slot 1 as I did for 10. Didn’t look like there was an option to do module counts outside of either exactly 10, or exactly 20.

No. And a few more characters so I can post.

No.

Not important.

It will likely be noticed by staff or AI. Only one is put in.
