Do more rest days negate washouts?

I’m doing 4 rest days with single loops of LBFH and Sanguine.

Does the longer rest period take away the need for a washout?

At this point, we have three categories:

  1. Rest days - these are the days between listening days during an active listening phase. (An active listening phase is usually about 21 days)

  2. ‘Processing days’ (not an official term) - these are the days between listening phases. Standard is 5 days.

  3. Washouts: these are longer periods of non-exposure to any subliminal programs. These periodic longer rests give the brain an opportunity for deeper integration, rest, and renewal.

If you’re taking more rest days (say, 4 to 6) between listening days, I think it will negate the need for the 5 processing days (category 2 up above); but you will probably still need the periodic washouts every so often to give your brain a more extended rest and reset.

You have probably noticed that washout instructions have not been standardized. It’s just generally recommended to do a washout ‘every so often’ . Like every 3 to 6 months when you sense that it might be helpful. This allows you to tune in to your own needs and cycles.

The word “sense” is the keyword here.

This pretty much sums it up honestly and it’ll depend on you as a person.

From my own experience doing titles once a week I’ve noticed I’ve not needed a washout as much. However I’m currently not running subs and haven’t done for two weeks and it’s still running in the background.

That was the case here as well. I did a two-week washout and the processing occurred in my mind till the end of the washout. I started the next cycle anyway.

I mostly have been good on 2-3 days for a long time and that’s all I have really needed. Now I am on my official first washout for 2-3 weeks and I have noticed objectives from subs start to manifest and execute with little resistance. Honestly this inspired me to cut a listening day of per week for an extra rest day

That is awesome. Glad to hear it.

I’m currently on a Tuesday, Saturday listening schedule. 3 weeks on, 1 week off.

The 28-day cycle fits satisfyingly, for me, with the general flow of the calendar.

Am in a rest phase now as well, and things are definitely processing. Dream content and mind movement.

Trusting the process.

There are some important ideas above.

I’ve noticed that rest seems to be very important in processing the script.

Your question does make sense. What I would encourage you do is think about “how much time I might need to process”. From my experience, rest seems very helpful at internal change be they rest days, more rest days, washouts, or processing days. I’ve also wondered if after 2+ cycles, the act of changing stacks might cause changes (as in changes manifesting from the discontinued stack).
