When I get a refund am I supposed to delete the files from my phone afterwards?

If you’re a moral person, you would. If you keep the files after you got a refund, you essentially got the product for free. :man_shrugging:

If you still want to keep the files, then you were wrong to get the refund.

Getting the refund means that you do not want the product. That is what your actions have communicated.

Yes; delete them. (If you realize that you actually still want to keep them, then send the company the money for them.)

I thought there was some sort of system where the files get automatically deleted from my phone when I put the files In the support ticket

I see now. Yeah that would involve a layer of access to your devices no reputable company would dare ask for. Thank Cthulhu haha.

Indeed. I use Amazon and Google daily, and I have Apple devices. And I would jump at the chance to tour their fancy offices and facilities… but reputable? That word carries relatively little weight anymore, in a world of monopolies.
