Density of custom vs. main titles

@SaintSovereign and everyone else.

It’s been said that the bigger your stack, the longer it takes for results as there’s just more information to process.

So can you help me understand the density of a full custom? 20 Modules (regardless if it’s 1 core or 2 ect) the point is 20.

Would a max custom compare to a 3 main title stack? 2 title? Or is this not easily comparable.

Ex. If I wanted to combine my 2 title stack into 1 max custom (2 core + 18 module) would this compare to a 3 sub stack or

Hopefully, my question make sense :thinking:

I think “density” is also a factor of relevance of the cores and modules to each other.

Remember when Saint mentioned way back making an Ultima with tons of modules for himself, but it worked because the modules were tightly-focused, topically speaking?

where if you had 20 modules that didn’t really synergize well, that would feel “dense” as it’d cause lots of processing effort.

I wouldn’t say that this is the most important factor and also there are some variables like: how the subs in the stack synergize when it comes to targeting your missing links and achieving your goals.

@Trader was first :wink:

So…it’s more about synergy than volume?

“Assuming” your custom is singularly focused, can a single, full custom be compared to a stack on main store titles or is it futile to even try to compare?

I don’t see any need to do any comparison of this kind, really. What matters most are your missing links addressed by your subs and the goals you want to achieve thanks to them. The synergy and taking action are far more important components of Mental Alchemy. Also, you need to be careful not to overexpose when your stack is demanding (low synergy level, more action to take, more missing links to fix).

Name-embedding makes customs better than store titles overall, I think.

This and the higher power levels. The solace mask is also more pleasant and, to my eye, more effective.
