Custom seems different

I just listened to 1 minute of my new custom - I ordered regular everything but the sound is extremely different- it’s not masked but some soft white noise or ocean noise? Is this a mistake or a new iteration? I had gotten the legacy mask.

This has me a wee bit concerned on the content as well, how do I know its what I actually ordered.

I traded Alpha for Alpha for NWE and it ‘feels’ completely different so far so hard to say off that alone but certainly want to double check.

I’m lining up the custom with order number- but if there was a way to name our custom so when we received them or see them the models/cores in the build listed that would be really cool.

Isn’t the “current” mask called Solace?

No the standard is Legacy Mask, my last custom was Legacy Mask

and this sounds 100% different.

Yes. But when I updated my custom it asked if I had used the solace mask.

I had and it sounds like the store titles. If I remember correctly. Been a while since I’ve listened to it.

Thanks for the input @Hoppa. I know my previous customs and store titles all sounded the same and this sounds very different.
Previous customs and this custom have the same ‘legacy mask’ selection in build. It has me concerned whether it’s the custom I ordered or not.

Following up on this, I know there is a lot going on everyone’s plate and I did submit a support ticket and am aware there is a big delay.

I would really love some clarification on the above to. As to why the custom I ordered has a different sound track than listed in the build and if it is in fact the contents of the custom I ordered? Perhaps recon but I feel a very strong urgency with this, and please do not be offended by any doubt or faith, but I understand mistakes happen and I feel very uncomfortable with the idea of listening to something not intended and that it is important to clarify as soon as possible.

I listened to a 1 minute of this custom, and it feels very off and distinct than the previous build, I have some strong self awareness and perhaps in recon but seems more than one model different. My main concern or flag is the different soundtrack though than the previous legacy mask on all other customs and store titles and as listed on this one @Forum_Ambassadors thoughts on this?

We Forum Ambassadors and Moderators are not involved in custom building.

I realize you would like to know the what might be happening with your custom so you can listen to it knowing that it was built as you wanted/expected.

As you are waiting, do you have other customs or titles you could listen to as a substitute?

I’ll look in a bit. If it’s not Solace or the legacy mask, it’s just one of the unreleased (but fully functional) masks – I suspect the ocean beach mask. It’s happened before. @Invictus accidentally received the unreleased thunder and rain mask and for whatever reason wants all his customs in it :rofl: (I was not pleased with the quality, so I didn’t release it).

The content of the custom is pulled directly from the customer order. Mask selection a few other things are still entered by Q-Engineer, so there’s grounds for human error there. The content is definitely the right one. PM me the order number and we’ll rebuild it with the proper mask.

It’s definitely different soundtrack on my end from my other custom which is also Legacy Mask or store title. I just checked both back to back. It’s like ocean beach. I can recorded both audios and send. Or I’m officially going crazy lol. Even though my preference is the one I’m used to I don’t really care if the content is the same.
