Confused about the SubClub process

There are still a handful of titles that have yet to be upgraded to ZP and the objectives aren’t complete but it seems the focus continues to be on customs . Am I missing something?
I know this comes across as a criticism but I promise it’s not. I am grateful for this company. Just a bit confused. I can’t be the only one can i?

@James please stop putting pressure on Fire and Saint they are working non stop running the grave yard shift. The rest of the products will be available in the next week.

They will be done when they are done wether it is a week or a month or more
Eventually they will will all be updated

There is probably a lot going on in the background at sub club.
Plus there is the objectives and potentially new subs and modules to be released soon too.

Not gonna lie, you and I are definitely not the only ones puzzled with the delay with Executive.

But c’est la vie, lots of shit’s been happening lately anyways.

As for the focus on customs, I’m not really sure what you’re talking about. I don’t see a focus on Fire and Saint’s part regarding customs, if anything the extra attention on customs has been on the side of the community.

I believe that he was more asking out of curiosity rather than to put pressure.

You know him better than I do, but I’m rather confident in his ability to say what he means as he means it.

Pretty sure @RockyHandsome was teasing @James they are both mates

Don’t forget that after the preview . Some titles may need refinement . Like what happened with limitless in start of the preview . As a customers at this moment of zp journey we have almost all what needs regarding objectives and alot of ready zp titles to choose from .

The main titles updated with the objective and Saint said they will keep remining the scripts to put all the objectives .

While I don’t see it that way . But this means they finished almost 75 to 90% of the work on the main store titles . Customs with zp is finished since people started to build in zp .

I don’t see it that way . And i think others didn’t saw it like this .

Have a good day :blue_heart:

I love ZP don’t get me wrong. I almost have to force myself to listen where prior I didn’t understand how something that is 15 minutes could be so powerful
@RockyHandsome / BlackAdder can shut his scone hole

not directed at you or anything against you @RockyHandsome but i see this often here in the forum

whats up with “dont put pressure on fire and saint”

i see this often, whenever someone requests or asks them people always come in a defensive state of stop doing this or that theyre doing their best, i mean i know it comes from a nice place of heart

but were here on the forum to discuss, and request and ask, its a good relationship between the customer and the seller

why do we people say that? like saint and fire lurk on the forum when they have time i assume, so where is the pressure? theyre pretty laid out chill dudes who are very responsive and helpful

idk i find it weird when people just jump and say dont put pressure

maybe its just me

anyways nothing personal, its just the statement

From the forum stories Saint and Fire are usually lurking in bushes or in a corner somewhere

It’s possible.

The only real reason I responded is that, like @Budewr touched on, in the last few months some people (not you @RockyHandsome) seem to have taken it upon themselves to shut people down. Granted, this usually happened when people were making a request (especially during the beginning of the ZP Preview right after Saint would make an announcement of the release of some upgraded title) and it’s understandable. I myself got irritated a couple of times. Which is one reason the new roadmap deal is cool to me.

I am definitely a fan of sitting back a bit and letting the Bois do their thing without pestering them for this, that and the other. They do it pretty friggin well. Delays are an inevitable part of the machine when life is fraught with uncertainty, especially given human nature. People sticking their hands out everytime Saint drops an announcement, then, for those of us who actually care that there’s humans behind the Co-founder badges, humans that have lives outside of this forum, outside of this business… Well, I understand the passion some of us valiantly chastise the more eager and persistent ones.

But a question about what the scoop is - especially one written with no detectable animosity, blame or barbs - being shut down because of ‘pressure’ (not coming for ya personally Addy) on the Bois seems a bit much for me. Especially when they’re (Saint and Fire) almost always happy to provide updates or answer such questions. And, the fact that were they to choose to answer @James, then others would be able to link other questioners directly to Saint or Fire’s answer. Which means, less stress. To me, anyways.

Anyways.

How is the focus on customs?

Seems more like it’s on Program Objectives to me.

That and putting out fires related to user misuse of ZP and/or ignoring guidelines.

And if you observe closely right now you can notice that certain special silence to Saint and Fire that means they’re working on something big or recovering from working on something big.

When has that silence ever been followed by disappointment?

@Sage_Ninjistic @Budewr

I think the issue lies in the fact that there are always requests. Always. People try to hide it behind ‘I can’t wait for X title to be released’ ‘I can’t wait for X objective to be released’ ‘I can’t wait for X to be released’ and they’re being pushy instead of just being patient and waiting for it to come out. There’s never really a moment of someone just being content with what they have. During the releases of ZP people were begging for new releases, and the cycle continues every time something is announced.

They’re working on multiple things at once which kind of relates to what @Malkuth was saying with misuses of ZP at the moment, but then they’ll have to work on objectives, new titles, re-releases of the older previews and whatever else they’re up to. I’m assuming it takes a lot of work and people are genuinely asking the same questions repeatedly (this isn’t nor is my post aimed at @James) and hiding it behind the above to ‘remind’ them of certain things that are or were meant to be released & it does put pressure on them, because they want things to be perfect it’s out to the public, even subs or whatever that need to be tested.

My ex’s dad taught me something and it goes along the lines of:

It’s not what they’re saying, it’s why they’re saying it. (In regards to ‘I can’t wait for X to be released’).

It can be frustrating, as someone who has created and done things, you’re working on something and people bombard you with a thousand and one questions whilst you’re trying to perfect it. It does place pressure on you when you’re working on multiple projects all at once and want them to be perfect for your clients/customers/friends etc.

I think that’s why others say, please don’t place pressure on them, whether intentional or not. Most of the time, they probably don’t even realise they’re unintentionally doing such.

Now, in regards to @RockyHandsome, he’s most likely just joking with Jcast but I don’t know, it’s probably partly joke and some truth.

I don’t want this to turn into a massive debate nor anything else with anyone, who I’ve tagged or whatever, but just putting my 2 cents in.

That is true.

At the same time, I imagine they, Saint and Fire, are both very canny and discerning about the fact that underneath both complaints and praise lies the vital bedrock of passionate, committed customer engagement.

They probably recognize that it means people care and take it in stride.

On the other hand, dealing with unethical competitors, IP issues, etc., …has got to be annoying at best.

I get the sense that what they prioritize most are the quality and effectiveness of the products and what they’re most concerned about is anything that impinges on or jeopardizes that (whether those be small-scale user misuse issues or more broadly-based threats to the subliminals field itself).

I don’t see any special focus on Customs.

Internally to SC, there are ~200 scripts they had to rewrite from Q to ZP …
~50 are longer, called Cores; and ~150 are shorter, called Modules.

These rewritten Cores become Free Upgrades to the regular store titles.

:point_down:t2: Speculations Ahead. Proceed At Your Own Risk. :point_down:t2:

About the titles that are yet to be upgraded, my understanding is that …

It is beyond the case of simply rewriting, but to honour/deliver the actual vision of the title.

If they give us Beyond Limitless ZP or Executive ZP, like all other 15-min files, they would work like standard major programs – tools for deep long-term change.

:exploding_head:

The SC vision however, and how us SC customers would want those programs to be – are boosters. Use on days when necessary.

We can read on here the posts of members who primarily enjoyed the quick results of Ultima, and long to see the same with ZP.

The ZP-based Booster Tech is still in development, as we know from the fact that they chose to give us Ascension Chamber for free instead of charging for it, because it is not in the booster/supercharger form yet.

:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Personally, I also believe that these talks about nerfing ZP originate from the same issue.
As we know from the good old days of Qv1 vs Terminus … denser files may automatically effect deeper change regardless of scripting.

Hence, to create any kind of supercharger … whose effects last under 24 hours … ZP Standard Strength may have to be reduced.

:cowboy_hat_face:

I may have responded more than necessary, so ending it here.

@Fire @SaintSovereign

If this is really the case, I must add that some of us would really appreciate a deep, permanent change edition of EXECUTIVE.
Eg: @Simon @King

If the script is too small and Limitless has high risk of recon,
add components from Sanguine / MindsEye / Wisdom / ROI / Lines / Streams / etc.

Maybe expand it into a "Goals Hustler Weapon Xecutive" subliminal.

:joy:

I think, and I may be wrong, that some of the other products were already working extremely well in Qv2 so they just got “upgraded.”

However, the Executive had the exact OPPOSITE effect as intended for many people. It had people procrastinating all day. Some people got awesome results, but a lot of people had terrible results.

So I think the executive isn’t just being upgraded, it’s being almost completely rewritten. That’d be my guess.

I just want to say thank you to @SaintSovereign and @Fire for all the research, time and hard work they put into these subs. They are always working hard to improve and upgrade, mostly free of charge their products. How many producers of subs do you know that consistently upgrade their programs. Kudos to you guys and all the other testers who make our subs safe. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You all are greatly appreciated.:sunglasses::100::+1::pray:

I think of it as certain challenges that SaintSovereign and Fire are trying to resolve with regard to the last few titles that have yet to be converted to ZP AND that writing the objectives weren’t as simple as we thought since they are analysing the script to give us said objectives. That would be a time consuming effort and hence the delay.

The reason why we got the ZP customs sooner than expected (instead of the much later expected date) was that instead of having to rewrite all the Cores and Modules of the Q Store individually from scratch, Fire and SaintSovereign were able to do some “script magic” to do that work for them which in turn hastened the release of the new upgraded customs. Almost like the way the Primer made ZP customs what they are, some sort of “custom primer” is involved as well.

All this is mere conjecture on my part of course but what is fact is that we got some things much earlier than expected and some things got unexpectedly delayed.

Inspite of all that, we are all using tools that are light years ahead of the industry so personally, am excited to be where we are both in terms of SubClub and the audios we have in our hands right now thanks to Saint/Fire.

Wishing everyone a happy restful easter!
