Chosen Black Ideas

Chosen Black

The first whispers of a “Chosen Black” came from @friday and @SaintSovereign on the GLM:Co thread.

Tony Robbins, Dwayne Johnson, Leonardo Dicaprio, Keanu Reeves, “Good Guy” David Grohl.

Chosen Black could be quite the title. Maxxing out the “virtuous leader” qualities, the connections and ability to inspire people just with presence, the reputation as being as close to “perfect” as a normal human can get. And of course maxxing out the reason for all this in the first place, connection to inspire others to follow a cause.

What cause? Your cause. Whether you are the person who will be leading others to join the “Save The Climate” movement you start, or starting a meditation revolution, or creating a brand new way of living that others to rally around, you’ll find you have the leadership of Chosen, the fame of ASBR, the calculated power-acquiring sophistication of E:TWTP.

Your “cause” that you rally the world to would see astronomical success, and with that success, your name as one of the most transformational figures in the world is cemented. You can then use that reputation to further your cause, which furthers your image, which furthers your cause, until you’re considered one of the most transformational people to the world as we know it today.

This is so fundamentally different than Chosen, which is the ability to inspire others, but towards the goal of better relationships, happier emotions, and more joy, that it deserves to be it’s own title. Chosen Black is towards the goal of fame. But this fame is nothing like ASBR, which is based on “popularity through value.” It’s calculated, like Chosen Black in some ways, but serious, in ways that Chosen Black never would be. Rather than use innovation to acquire fame to acquire wealth, Chosen Black uses inspiration to acquire fame to acquire leadership and legacy and change others for the better.

ASBR works towards massive wealth and fame, but, Chosen Black would be less about money and more about a positive reputation, hence why elements of TWTP and ASBR make it in.

Add whatever else you think fits.

You know what’s funny? In post-soviet countries Tony Robbins has a negative reputation.

I know that motivational speakers like to call themselves “Leaders” and content creators / celebrities think of themselves as “Influencers”

But these entertainers aren’t leaders. They hold no Power to get anything meaningful done in the real world. And they’re certainly not worthy models for Black / Artisan titles.

If it’s more of POSITIVE qualities, then that’s just regular Chosen.

There are times when positive communication and negotiations are not possible.
When punishment, compromises, divide and conquer, war, etc. are necessary.
When one needs to fire employees, close entire departments, initiate legal battles, etc.
When even diplomacy requires intelligence from espionage.

Challenges … where the Prince must understand that one must fight evil with evil.

There are levels of Power where sacrifices need to be made. You can’t satisfy everyone. Resources are always limited. Serving the needs of one group, may come at the cost of facing the wrath of another.

There are battles where all your men will die, just to buy time for the next line of defence to prepare.

:disappointed_relieved:

Chosen Black … or Will to Power: Black … or House of Medici: Origins:rofl:
if we ever get it, should be an archetype based on Machiavelli, Thick Black Theory, and more.

People CHOOSE you because you’re exactly the kind of bad boy, who will take on the system, and destroy their enemies.

I’m glad u mentioned Machiavelli… this title certainly as I see it certainly has the idea of CULTIVATUNG an image even more than essentially being it. Think about it as chosen from within being internal, chosen being external, and chosen black being VERY external

Visionary Leadership. A blend of Renaissance Man, Stark, and Chosen.

That is a good idea. Probably just the upgrade we need in Stark OG, or even Chosen OG.

I don’t see it as Black though. (Just my thinking. Not saying it’s incorrect.)

Maybe Gold … Chosen: Gold. (Honoring DR:Gold Leadership building)

Love this. Chosen gold.

Remembered this post from during the original StarkQ development…

@Jouissance, it is possible that Visionary Leader scripting was already a part of Stark OG. And now with SB maximising the bad boy, these elements may get highlighted in the Stark-NSE update.

I don’t have ideas for Chosen Black but:

Mix of J. R. R. Tolkien ZP, George R. R. Martin ZP, Steven Erikson ZP

Mix of Stan Lee ZP, Gege Akutami ZP, Yoshihiro Togashi ZP

I don’t necessarily think another Chosen title is needed, it would be nice to see Chosen recalibrated though with a deeper focus on it’s “light archetype”

I do like the idea of utilizing principles, methods, etc. in “The Prince” but for good and benevolence.

I was reading this and I totally dig the idea of a Chosen Black.

But, what @Simon mentioned - They can’t get anything done in the real world - kind of rings true, but at the same time, they are raising the thinking and ambition of people.

Make no mistake, true power without leadership will not inspire people towards a positive side. We’ve seen the consequences caused by the love for power with a “dangerous” map.

So, I have a twist on this concept - the ability to deal with complexities & manage complexities.

If that quality can be incorporated into Chosen / any leadership titles - to take decisions on Cold War level complexities - I think it will be a game changer.

I know, we won’t deal with such complexity in most our careers, I’m just adding it because leadership today is all about the complex situations you manage first and next being a great communicator.

Why?

In my experience, the Black line has always tended towards emphasising / accentuating one of the qualities that the OG sub was designed to work on. Take a look at the copy, nowhere is fame mentioned. It’s all about leadership, warmth, virtue, and standing for the light instead of darkness.

Leadership is not the same as fame; imagine a guy who keeps a low profile but mentors others in their spare time. He has a positive impact on those he comes into contact with, but that impact is only known by those who the affected choose to share with. There are some situations where fame would be a hindrance to leadership. Think about leading the members of a secret society, or the work of a Business Visionary in a DSDM team. In both cases, wide reaching fame or notoriety of the work they are doing could compromise the society’s goal, or the BV’s ability to bring the project to successful completion without alerting its competitors. There are times when it is best to have controlled publicity rather than wide reaching fame.

Very good point.

I was going for “known as a leader among leaders”

That makes sense. If I was to make some suggestions about additions for a Black, or an updated variant of Chosen, I’d probably go for adding anti-manipulation scripting like TWTP has in it, and the ability to penetrate deeply into the facts of the topic/cause you’re passionate about, and avoid falling prey to emotional appeals that limit critical thinking. Some kind of Limitless Lite could maybe assist that goal.

I’ve seen plenty of people touting “activism” lately, especially with the rebranding of Mozilla which I personally think Bryan Lunduke has done a good job of covering. While there’s nothing wrong with activism, or think tanks in and of themselves, sound thinking on a cause and the ability to pull advice from multiple different, possibly conflicting sources and synthesise them like Singularity does could go a long way towards creating successful, ethical activists who know how to create the best outcomes for a wide variety of individuals. Would love to hear your thoughts on that idea.

And here, I think, you’re wrong. I don’t know about the others, but you’re definitely underestimating Tony Robbins.

One of my former mentors had consultions with TR. Each cost 1 million and didn’t last a day.

My mentor, on the other hand, was a guy, who was called by VW management and others in tough situations. Once he was called after negotiations lasted 3 days. He showed up there, in his gardening clothes, covered in grass, because it was his free day and he likes gardening (mediation not as much anymore). When the managers thought he was just a gardener, he flipped a table. Half an hour later the deal got closed and everyone was happy.
He got 200k for this 30 minutes.
He also considered building the highest building in the world here in Germany. He knows we have the tech, he knows the investors, the politicians…
But it would take to mich of his time away from his goal, so he dropped the thought.

These are the people TR has a serious influence on. People that consider building the highest building in the world, people that show up at C-Level negotiation of multi billion dollar companies in dirty gardening clothes and make them pay 200k for 30 minutes.
And now imagine that he has a serious influence of dozens of those people.

He might not be an Elon Musk, but he has lots of influence, even though it’s rather the hidden.

Yes, yes. Lots of wealthy and powerful people enjoy paying for their favorite coach, or therapist, or astrologer, or spiritual guru. Whoever is in fashion these days.

BTW, speaking of Tony specifically, he’s a very successful businessman with lots of investments and philanthropy. Same can be true for other actors and celebrities. I’m not dissing their success.

But are they Leaders?
Do they have a vision for the world that others are following?
Are they building companies, markets, industries, nations, etc.?

I’ve been a public speaker and coach myself. I’ve been in those meetings you talk about. And I’m still friends with CEOs, Entrepreneurs, and their Coaches.
Has our presence been sought and paid for? Yes.
Do we think we assisted them in making good decisions? Yes.
Do we have power to lead them to OUR results? Only if we’re deluding ourselves.

Edit: Maybe, we all simply differ in our definition of Leadership, or our conception of Chosen.
I’m often guilty of thinking too big, when it’s completely unnecessary to do so.

Not necessarily.

I never spoke about their leadership qualities, or if they are “Chosen” material. I spoke only about if they hold any power to get anything meaningful done. And influence and Power they have, the question is, do they have a big goal for mankind?

I don’t know about TR, but at least my former mentor has big plans that will change society if he succeeds.

Hey, can someone help us out and add this to the road map? Much appreciated :v::sunglasses:

Just an idea :bulb:
