If you struggle with visualization, then just pretend like how children do.
Fallout 5 and Borderlands 4 need to happen. Two of my favorite game franchises of all time.

You can start visualizing like this:
Observe an object of reality. A pencil.
Watch it for 5 seconds.
Close your eyes: Bring up the pencil image for 3 seconds.
Repeat at will, increasing the seconds as you better retain the mental image.
At some point you will be able to evoke the pencil without first having observed it in the physical world.

Some are born with a natural ability, some have to train it, some have no ability at all and possibly never can…just try training it before you jump to the conclusion that you have that disorder where you can’t form mental images.
You could try minds eye.
If you can’t visualize, you can try scripting.
