Building a new custom - Happily married researcher

This is my second time building a custom subliminal. The first one was a fairly straightforward Paragon -based custom to help with some emerging health problems. However for the second on I’d like to try something more complicated and I would greatly appreaciate all feedback.

There are two major problems in my life right now that I would like to alleviate with this sub. First is lack of motivation and tendency to procrastinate at my job as a researcher and as a PhD student. I’d like to feel motivation again and achieve something good for the benefit of this world.

Second problem is that my connection to my wife has suffered through busy years with two kids and both mental and physical health problems (which are fortunately on the mend for now). I’d like to rekindle our relationship and increase our cooperation and reduce conflicts.

There are a lot of modules that fit the bill in the store, actually too many for the 20 module limit. Could you check my current list to trim it down, eliminate redundancies and of course suggest something else, if I have missed something essential.

Limitless Executive Core
I.Q. and Cognitive Booster
Machine: Action
Machine: Rest
Productivity Unleashed
RAIKOV
Stillmind
The Streams
Victory’s Call
Book Blitz
Carpe Diem Ascended
Joie de Vivre

Heartsong Core
Depths of Love
Chosen of Venus
Focused Arousal
Reignition
Soul Connection
Transcendental Connection

Blue Skies
DEUS
Mosaic
Pragya
The Merger of Worlds
Energetic Development XI

That’s 25 modules, so at least 5 will have to go. Thanks to everyone in advance!

You are already in PhD so whatever you say you must be bright and efficient somehow already. So I would only remove the modules around this part such as

  • RAIKOV
  • Stillmind
  • The Streams

then these booster dont do much

  • Mosaic
  • Deus
  • Blue Skies seems redundant with Depths of Love and Chosen of Venus.

The general recommendation is to try the core individually to be sure of how you respond to them.
Good luck

here are modules I would consider removing if it were my custom and there was not enough space:

  • The Streams,

  • Book Blitz?? (if you dont actually need it in practice based off what you do in your life),

  • Joie de Vivre,

  • Blue Skies,

  • Mosaic,

  • Pragya,

  • The Merger of Worlds

Maybe you could switch stillmind with Elixir CORE - I assume you put it there to not get overloaded / stressed / really low as things happen with time. It would make you generally happier and take more optimistic view on things.

First thing you should ask yourself - is there one core that would help with your career/procrastination AND your relationship?

The first thing that comes to mind for me is Khan Black - massive boosts in sexual energy which increase connection and vitality AND motivation, impetus to create, and overall output.

Not to mention Khan Black can pair well with Paragon!

Another one that comes to mind is sanguine: elixir - tbh it’s a wicked productivity subliminal for me, but it also is an overall life improver, making you calmer, happier, less reactive to negative words or negative situations, gives me a great outlook that everything in life is “working”, relationship and career alike.

A third one that comes to mind is Stark - it has innovation and new idea scripting, for research and finding brilliant hypotheses to research. It has a LOT of social scripting and a bunch of seduction scripting too so it’ll be great for your relationship (seduction is not just with strangers), it’s an alpha sub so, maybe most importantly, it’ll address the root cause of both your relationship and procrastination issues… you!

For the custom you have, though, I would remove Transcendental Connection, DEUS, Mosaic, Energetic Development, and a 5th of your choice - probably focused arousal.

You could also remove machine: action, as you’ll get a lot of that with LE, machine rest, productivity unleashed, Carpe diem, and Joie de vivre.

Hey, have u tried stacking the major titles:

“limitless executive” and “heartsong”.

If u have stacked them and are adding other modules to expand on what u felt was lacking,

then anything below this point isn’t for u.

If not, then plz read on.

In my eyes, your custom looks as if u r trying to expand on the features of the mentioned major titles…

But, i personally dont think u are adding any new features to the major cores.

For eg. U r adding alot of productivity modules while putting limitless executive (which is probly not necessary).

Same wid heartsong.

The functionality of modules like “depths of love”, “chosen of venus” etc are probably already in heartsong.

If u are indeed doing this to get faster and better results then:

Stack the major titles then add other modules to expand on what u felt was lacking.

Stacking the major titles will actually give u direction on what modules u should add.

Hope I didn’t make this too confusing.

Best wishes.

fair! You could either add what you feel is lacking or something specific that you want to be boosted up in that custom more than other stuff.

Build two customs instead of one.

I did the same. One custom 2 cores + 18 modules, second one - one core + 9 modules.

First… Welcome to the community.

Before any suggestions about your custom, given the 2 problems you illustrated above, you may find that one or two regular programs resolve your issues.

For example, use Genesis or Emperor: HOM for an all around life/ professional productivity boost. Also both have relationship scripting that for us married guys improves that area of life without inviting unwanted distractions.

If you still want a little extra boost on the romance/relationship front, you can never go wrong with Primal. Hands down still my favorite sub 5 years later.

It is the unleasher, bringing calm nonchalant confidence to every area of life, especially romance.

When we get busy parenting and living day to day, it’s easy to lose that spark that 1st attracted our mates. Been there done that.

Primal brings your heart and loins back to the forefront of life.

he could ask his wife run heartsong in case his stack gets too big : )
food for thought

Genesis / HoM / Limitless Executive custom
plus heartsong on side
sounds good though…

Choose between Productivity unleashed, victory’s call, and carpe diem. You don’t need all 3 along with Machine Action.

You can remove Mosaic as the current scripting already boost the interplay of modules and cores.

With Heartsong core, Transcendental Connection and Blue Skies, I think you can drop all the other relationship modules.

When building a custom, I and others have suffered from kitchen sink syndrome, where we want to include every possible module when way less would do. It’s like building a jackhammer when all you need is a scapel.

If it was me I would do a Heartsong + (Divine) Diamond custom and stack it with regular store Limitless Executive.
It gives you more room to build the custom and makes it more focused.

Theres something about doing a custom with LE and Heartsong that just doesnt add up to me… it seems too difused.

Even better.

Thanks for the welcome and for all the feedback! I’ll try to sum it up in this post before deciding what I should do. I’ll first go through the refinement suggestions you gave for my list of modules and after that discuss the alternate solutions you gave to my problems.

First Psiklou suggested removing the modules RAIKOV, Stillmind and The Streams, on the basis that I must have some capacity for thinking already. That may or may not be true, but I don’t think a little extra processing power ever hurt anyone. Stillmind and The Streams are also described to have synergistic properties. Nevertheless, I’m beginning to feel that RAIKOV is not needed as everything it teaches is already a requirement for proper science. Boosters Mosaic and Deus were seen as unnecessary, by many of you, so I’m very inclined to take them out. Blue Skies on the other received recommendations to both keep it in and take it out. It’s quite a mysterious module to me, so if anyone can enlighten me on how it works, I’d be happy to learn.

Ironclaws made some new recommendations, suggesting I take out Book Blitz, Joie de Vivre, Pragya and The Merger of Worlds. I agree with removing Book Blitz completely, because I can read fast enough as it is, the real problem is sometimes not having the motivation to read. Joie de Vivre is important to me personally, because joy is something that is sorely lacking in my work currently. Pragya and the Merger of Worlds are again boosters, the importance of which I don’t really know. Is the potential increase in effectiveness worth discarding some other effect? I wondered about Ironclaws’s suggestion about Elixir CORE. I thought that it was recommended to include only two cores per custom sub and I already have LE and Heartsong.

Ouroboros suggested removing Transcendental Connection, Energetic Development and Focused Arousal. I’m not sure about Transcendental Connection as other people thought it was important and it apparently has some synergy with Soul Connection. I agree with Energetic Development and Focused Arousal as the first seems to have some focus on manifestation, which is not what I am after, and the second was never very important to me. He also suggested removing Machine: Action, due to overlapping with LE and others. Which makes sense, but I’d like to know how much there is unnecessary overlappage or can this module boost the effectiveness of LE.

Oloy discussed the same thing in his post: how much do the modules actually boost the effect of LE and Heartsong? I got the impression from his post that necessarily not much, but perhaps I could find out by stacking the major titles themselves and feel what is lacking. The suggestion is good, and I confess I haven’t tested them yet, but at the same time this exercise seems a bit difficult for a beginner like me and of course it costs a little extra.

Seneca returned to the redundancy topic, suggesting that only one of Productivity unleashed, victory’s call and carpe diem is needed. If I made that choice, it would be a hard choice between Productivity unleashed and Victory’s call as procrastination and avoidance are both my weaknesses. I guess I’d lean towards Victory’s Call. Seneca also recommended all other relationship modules than Heartsong, Transcendental Connection and Blue Skies, which is very interesting considering that others thought TC and BS worth dropping. Who is right here?

Lastly Seneca discussed the tendency to include lots of modules when less would do. What I would like to know is what exactly happens when more modules are added. Does the marginal benefit just decrease module by module, or are too many modules actually less effective than a smaller number would be?

Then about the alternative solutions. There were three suggestions:

  • Use one core/major title that would answer both of my problems. Suggested cores were Khan Black, Sanguine Elixir, Stark, Genesis, Emperor: HOM, Primal.
  • Stack Heartsong and LE major titles, or better yet, build two customs using them as foundation.
  • Heartsong + (Divine) Diamond custom and regular store LE.

I think there at least four questions that should be answered to know if these solutions make sense.

  • How much less effective are single core solutions at addressing my problems for which I feel LE and Heartsong are very much tailor-made?
  • Joa23 mentioned that a custom with LE and Heartsong seems too diffused. It’s true that my two problems are very different in nature. However is there a large technical difference in listening one custom sub with both subjects versus listening two major titles or custom subs with same subjects?
  • How much less effective is store LE compared to custom sub with LE core?
  • Do I have enough room in my stack for options 2 and 3 considering that I want to keep using my first Paragon-based custom sub?

Okay, this was a big post and I didn’t even cover every point you made in the thread. Hopefully you have patience to read through it and answer some of my questions. Thanks again!

I made a custom for physical and emotional healing, it has Paragon and Sanguine the Elixir, all the modules accommodate one or the other main goal.
After a couple of cycles I no longer needed the emotional healing, just the physical, using my custom began to feel too taxing and tiring, since I had no control on how much exposure I got to 1 core over the other and the emotional healing part was very resource intensive.
Then I decided to go back to store Paragon to focus exclusively on the physical aspect.

It seems to me that if you used both store titles, or 1 custom and 1 store title you can easily control the exposure to whatever the main issue you wanna work with.

As an example you could do:

Monday: LE for 10 minutes
Wednesday: LE for 5 minutes, Heartsong for 5 minutes.
Friday: Heartsong for 10 minutes.

That assumes that you are gonna be more focused on working during the week and on the wife during the weekend. Anyways thats just 1 example of how its more manageable if your tools are tighter.

Other than that as I stated before… its a matter of personal opinion/experience, I wouldnt put 2 different objectives in a single custom (not again I promise lol)…

Can it work for you? Sure why not.
If money and time are not an issue you can always experiment, but since you are making all these questions, it seems to me that you wanna make sure you make the right decision.

About technical reasons maybe @Forum_Ambassadors somebody could help a bit more.

Both have the same script, so its not less effective… In fact a custom could take a bit more time to fully blossom, since it has all the extra scripting from all the extra modules/cores.

You have space for option 2 OR 3 I would say, since the general recommendations are to stack 2 o 3 titles maximum (Store or Custom).
Some people can handle 3, some other 2… and some more adventurous individuals go for more… but you risk a lot of recon.

Alright, I understand now and that makes a lot of sense. Even though hammersaw is a nice and versatile tool, if I run out of things to saw, it’s quite cumbersome to swing that sawblade around while I hammer the rest of the nails.

When comparing store LE to custom, I was thinking about the difference the extra modules and name embedding can make.

And very nice that there is still room to play around with the stack.
