I am going to try and journal, as time allows, my experiences with Beyond Limitless and Limitless.
About me:
- 51, married, 4 kids (out of the house), 2 dogs
- Tech Exec, former Sr. System/Network Admin (20 years professionally in tech)
- I don’t have much baggage that I am trying to “fix” per say (that I am aware of… lol)
- Until recently (2 yrs) massively motivated, top of my game, always learning, now I am bored out of my mind for a variety of reasons…lack motivation… sort of going along for the ride and it’s not really my thing.
Goals:
- Picking up some new skills in tech, eyeballing attacking some Offensive Security courses to re-engage my love for tech and expand current skill sets into pen testing and other areas. Career change perhaps…
- A bit more motivation and overall productivity
Subs:
- Initially I was going with just Beyond Limitless, ran two loops of that yesterday (today is the skip day)
- From what I have read these will stack very nicely, so I am going to give it a shot
Expectations:
- Regain some productivity (my old self per say)…
- Streamline some study time and hope to gain an edge in picking up new stuff (it’s not really new, it’s more so a different angle of tech that I am learning)
- Some creative bonuses to help with the new ways of thinking for what my goals are
- Become the mad scientist who will take over the world
- Require larger hat sizes
Plan of attack:
- Beyond Limitless 1 loop followed by Limitless 1 loop every other day until day 19 for 5 days off and then repeat. (these are both masked for now…)
- Study new tech as time allows, hoping nightly but that is tough with my schedule:
** working 8-5
** gym until about 7:30
** walk dogs, eat, shower, get into study mode and it’s like 9pm… haha… shoot me. - I also recently started using the Endel App for sound that fits my situation, it seems a good addition.
And, I will journal as time allows… no guarantees it will be daily.
Regarding my initial two loops on Sunday, had a good day after those loops. I spent about 4 hour studying and felt less distraction and “in the zone”.
Today was a rest day, had a productive day and in a fantastic ‘better than normal’ mood.
Not a mad scientist yet.
I have a few questions and will probably have many more as time goes on.
It’s late (east coast 11:30) and I am tired, excuse any grammar or other errors as I’ll edit and correct later.
Enjoy!
