Better results from better headphones/earbuds?

So I am mainly posting this because I am curious about other peoples input on this subject because I just recently got new earbuds and I have noticed my results have been better. Also if this was already talked about I do apologize lol. Anyways:

  1. Seems like I have much faster processing speed after listening to a stack, as in less brain fog and it dissipates quicker.

  2. Faster results in general.

  3. Less irritable post listening. In fact the days that I listened have been one of the most stress free days in a while.

Now obviously I am pretty sure there would be a difference from some crappy $20 low end earbuds to something like JBL, AirPods, Galaxy Buds etc. but I just went from some low end to more of a mid tier brand, they usually go for $75 - $100. The only thing that I can think of is that these are my first pair of earbuds that have Transparency and Active Noise Cancellation, but can really make a difference? Please keep in mind that I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to sound quality haha.

I wanted to write it off as coincidence but with 2 listening days that have been amazingly easy, I just can’t write it off as coincidence.

I know that it is recommended for Transparency & Noise Cancellation mode to be switched off, as those may cancel out some of the subliminal frequencies, depending on how they operate.

It could be your noticing the benefits of increased frequency response range on the new earphones, or the Bluetooth codec you’re connecting with is less lossy.
