If we STOP working, the income stops too - unless we have a passive income streams in place. That’s why many traders and investors focus on building systems (like automated trading, dividends, or real estate) that generate money even when they’re not actively working.

Many people just RENT their income. If they STOPPED working, they no longer get paid. That’s employer’s mindset, they’re hook into the idea that they need to find work and stick to it forever.

But if we OWN our income, then we get PAID regardless of whether we work or not.

There is a comparison with some staple stocks dividend that have been around for decades. When comparing stocks it’s important to look at Total Return, not just the stock price increase.

The Total Return will account for dividend reinvestment as well as the stock price appreciation.

CAGR (compounding annual growth rate) is also a helpful metric to understand what the growth rate has averaged out in the previous years.

I have reinvested what my parents and grandparents had saved for me in the banks since I was a child. Avoided the savings accounts as it will not grow that much. Attended several meetings with my banks to participate on foreign investments, much safer option than doing it alone and monetary laws impose by a country.

Most people don’t dare to commit themselves on a few years having their own business, but they are much comfortable to work for someone else for the rest of their lives.

At this moment everything becomes challenging, I need to have a meeting with my teams (I find this to be very productive and enhance efficiency. In my primary business I often go to departments and mingle with some groups and asked them about their work or whats trending, just to make them know that I was behind them all the time.

I was planning to join the stock exchange, though this idea would disagree with my goal which is not to expand my primary business (this is one of my ‘blocks’ I think). I just wanted to have a small stall to cater a small to medium size companies, but the company did jump to serving enterprise level starting last year.

Even though I wasn’t asking for help, people would offer their help without even asking them. I didn’t take this as a coincidence but rather as a results on allowing those wealth manifestation to flow into my life. I think this was the reason not to jump over stages abruptly otherwise you’ll be facing challenges beyond your capacity. I did survive most companies board meetings (investors business meetings) but I cautiously commit to deals which is very huge (the fear is still there) because I am no longer dealing with millions but bigger than that.

I was anxious about R.I.C.H. - I think maybe it’s power is no longer relevant. Most of my travels becomes purely business, I wish I had those short vacation as I did before, please.

After the Myanmar’s (Burma) earthquake I went to my ambitious Megalopolis (not really that large but I wanted to view it that way) project, I keep thinking of low-cost materials but I don’t want safety to be sacrifice in the process. A lot of buildings are already occupied, I am not worried on the consequence of a heavy downpour but I checked the plans and a guided physical inspection to make sure everything is fine.

To avoid structural problems, with the team of developers we focus on designing for durability, implementing regular maintenance, and enhancing resilience against potential hazards like earthquakes and floods, while also educating stakeholders and staying updated on best practices. And part of those ignored best practices was planting trees. I have convince stakeholders to allow the greens to be part of the structure, most people will find plants to be distracting but after several experienced they had with having plants alongside with people they found out it was actually beneficial, it makes a space much cooler even without the air-conditioner, there are other benefits as well.

As usual problems that arise will also produce opportunities for me. I learned something on my small-space rentals about modular designs, it’s like a Lego where anybody can play with whatever way they want to arrange a space. In my recycled materials (I had a recycling plant) I develop this type of material coming from waste and it was very hard to break and I coupled it with a nice wood furniture (our country only has this type of wood) and it can break a industrial chain saw. I applied it to my buildings, we have a lot of test to try to destroy it to whatever stress we could put on it, it always survive. It makes a space safe for calamities like if the building collapse.

On the other topic, I keep on thinking about my private jet, as I find it enjoyable to travel on the road as often 'coz I get lots of opportunities than opting to arrived earlier via plane (I think there is a reason why I was always late). Having a plane is never luxurious, like owing a car it need care (multiple times that of a luxury car). I rented a space from a private company to park my jet. But just like any problem I always an opportunity. I am not planning to sell, I want to use it. It started when I offer a friend a ride into this particular place in our country, and I believe he told his friends about that ride and so I have extra service.

The first three months of this year have shown business confidence declined due to economic uncertainties.

In my investment software I had I read that the business expectation survey released last week, the confidence index fell to 31.2% this quarter from 44.5% in the last quarter of 2024.

There is a post-holiday decline in demand for goods and services, a slowdown in business activities and a potential resurgence of inflationary pressures.

Globally, the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on steel and aluminum imports, and recent plans to slap tariffs on cars, are widely expected to increase the cost of doing business. Some countries needs to readjust their trade policies, resulting in a trade war.

Still, the local central bank said that optimism rebounded in terms of the outlook for the second quarter, with the overall CI rising to 45.4 percent from 40.3 percent in the previous survey, which is great.

The report showed that business sentiment weakened across all sectors, except for the construction sector, whose optimism remained steady - on my side is awesome.

Confidence among trading firms declined, with exporters, dual-activity firms (engaged in both importing and exporting) and domestic-oriented firms indicating lower confidence from the previous survey.

On the other hand, importers’ confidence remained largely unchanged.

The average capacity utilization rate of both the industry and construction sectors also declined to 71.4 percent from 73.9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Utilization rate is an indicator of production activity as it shows how much capacity is being deployed to meet customer demand.

The financial condition index became more negative, reflecting expectations of tighter cash or liquidity positions.

Businesses also expected a more constrained funding environment, as the credit access index reverted to negative territory, this is due to those restrictions or tariffs?

I have this strong idea of not having a big store for my primary business but then I envision great sales (distributorship rather than just dealership), a continent not a country vision. I ask how am I going to do it without building a huge building?

Well there is this rise of AI and automation - I used AI on what I saw good at sales, and I wanted AI to perfect my decision on that area, the continued growth of e-commerce - this is how I choose not to build huge building rather than just a small room, a focus on sustainability and green practices - practices that saves huge of bills as well as create a healthy natural environment, and the increasing importance of cybersecurity - I build my business learning threats and developing tools to stop them, along with the ongoing shift towards remote and hybrid work models - if I could make people comfortable working with their family at home then I can be sure they are an effective team.

Real Estate Stocks
Not all of my stocks are good, I am down by -5.95% for TEL, but I offset that of my Dividends.

The loss is too small, I treat my stocks as a long term income generating asset. Even though if it becomes volatile, I usually smile, as I am more concerned about its Fundamentals rather than its price movement. As long as it is fundamentally good, just hold it for good. I also want to emphasize more in Diversification.

I had my winning stocks offset the losses of my losing stock. Like when I bought this particular stock RCR at Php 5.2 then it fall until Php 4.70, that’s a 10% loss, nut I have MWC and AP that time to offset the loses I had.

A winning sector can offset a losing sector.

Maybe some will argue that diversification will minimize my gains if I am right.

This is true!

When SCC with 70% allocation surged to all time highs. The Gains was great.

I changed my strategy now to a defensive play, where I can utilize diversification, then composed of high yield dividend stocks so I can have cash flow.

I choose those sector/s and companies that I understand well.

This is my journal I don’t recommend buying those stocks in the current situation (I bought them at a lower price - I think it was not a good decision to buy them now).

I really wanted to get a glimpse on how I did the part when I was upgrading my own company. I can recall I just keep on listening the titles (no over doing it) and doing my usual work, and yes I read a lot of books, I didn’t know where to start but I can clearly remember I would just go for no reason to try some things that I know I was not good at. I did try studying accounting since I wanted to know where my money is going and I wanted more.

I come to this four C’s of leverage, developed by Dan Martell, the Code, Content, Capital, and Collaboration. These principles might help individuals and businesses achieve more with less effort by leveraging technology, knowledge, resources, and people.

Code | I had a strong background in C, C++, assembly language and it will be easier for me to learn other language like Python, Jave, etc.

Code refers to leveraging technology, automation, and software to streamline processes and create scalable solutions.

Content | Marketing is not my thing, I tried delegating it to a company but it didn’t work. What I did was I have this learning center for everyone to earn some skills and used it to land a job. I didn’t advertise but I learned that they are the ones who are actually broadcasting to world about my business for free.

Content involves creating and distributing valuable information, such as videos, articles, or guides, to reach a wider audience and build influence.

Capital | I did tried to completely borrowed money from a cooperative to buy a property, I have it renovated according to my style (way of putting some value), have it rented and the rent pays the loan.

Capital focuses on understanding and utilizing financial resources effectively, whether through investment, loans, or other means.

Collaboration | This is where I saw myself soaring the sky with great pride. I think I can also take some credit from other titles I had like, Emperor, Khan, and Dragon Reborn.

Collaboration emphasizes the power of working with others, building teams, and leveraging the skills and resources of a network.

I don’t exactly follow what I read and I usually end up amazed on the results.

Imagine I was totally new on AI (I did read on AI way back in high school and college but that was just for theory and nothing useful) and when I did get hold on these tools I would play around on them as if I already know how it works.

Most businesses has a one-sided view when it comes to offering a complete package, this is where I really shine so bright. . .

I’ve been wanting to build those billionaires empires and I keep repeating this conversation to my brothers but never get their interest. Whenever I dine with my girlfriend or eating alone I always stop to see those families, even ordinary families eating and talking together, I wish I had those same moments.

I have build this small company of mine growing - an enterprise on a small scale, I had a profitable down lines with my distribution network, I didn’t know that collaborating with business people are basic but necessary in expanding a company. My surface success of gaining wealth and living the dream lifestyle with high figure income earner, but I’m not sad having my brothers are contented with their basic lifestyles.

Maybe my brothers are not convince having me build my own empire on just a few years - a few years of experience might not be enough in alignment of personal goals with a greater purpose of helping to change my own life, fueled with my passion on sticking with my profession.

In spite of all the chatter in economics I’ve been quite involved with businesses that I am not even expert at, working with thousands of distributors and the only guide I had was my intuition - I did read a lot of books but not on the level of what I have now.

But I can see, depending of how people interpret an empire, my own empire is rising up.

Tariff is a beautiful word and I agree with Donald Trump, though many would hate him for imposing it.

Tariffs are used to restrict imports. They increase the price of goods and services purchased from another country, making them less attractive to domestic consumer. But they are like medicines, have them too much and it will get you into a trauma. They are not a long term solution and if not done carefully it will send a country into a disaster.

I was a little affected when the news about tariffs reached our country. This is one of the line that people should never doubt their worth when it comes to external conditions rather they should check their own surrounding first before making conclusions.

I couldn’t even met the domestic demands for the storage warehousing and when I have acquired another business it offered me a lot more opportunities that I can’t imagine possible. I wouldn’t talk about the international side.

What’s good about tariffs was that the consumers in the country that imposed the tariff might shy away from imports due to the price increase. In that case they will likely choose to buy on local products.

Tariffs often results in unwanted side effects, such as higher consumer prices (that’s why it’s good to buy local). Tariffs protect domestic industries, and might exert political leverage over another country.

I’m happy because what I build as a hobby for the farmers are quite in-demand (I can’t met their demands though).

Fear can be funny at times but if we look at it on another perspective we will find it beneficial.

I guess the universe is always on our side.

The poor person always spends all that he earns and he has all the excuses to survive.

The rich work on their assets to make even more money.

I have noticed that my liabilities are working for me to deal with the expenses.

In simple example, I don’t like having a smartphone (I had a secretary to deal with my clients) but the apps informed me with the company updates). My travel and vacations are not for nothing I always get unexpected business opportunities along the way - in the past I’m choosy when it comes to people, now that I understand that it make no sense on what you see when your goal was to earn money.

Can’t Hate - Me. I was not comfortable being on the crowd without carrying a handgun - that’s my past. I am more than comfortable to dance with anybody in public. Sometimes I talk against the government or a political party because of the country’s situation and when I caught myself on these state of mind I re-frame my thinking to a ‘good’ state - I know that having a good emotions always results to a good outcome.

We cannot remedy anything by condemning it. We’ll only add to the destructive energy that’s already permeating the atmosphere of in our life.

I avoid watching news, my dad used to joke that ‘news are like watching an old movie over and over again, they are just changing the characters, there’s nothing new’ and I like to believe that.

Anything you put your energy on will grow and our dominant emotion will amplify what we wanted to happen into our life. Take for instead the tariff in which I am following (I got too involved) and I tried snapping out of it, I told myself this is not what I wanted. I look the other way, I keep recalling what happened on the warehouse business - flowing with supplies and I can’t met the demands but I had always had options to address them (ha ha ha).

I noticed this a lot, whenever I choose to be on a negative level the situation become dire but if I choose to remain positive no matter how worst the situation becomes it will always change into a state favorable to me.

Recently several clients were complaining about their situation (this is after they’re heavily impacted with the U.S. tariffs) and I seen companies have closed due to these tariffs. Countries that don’t have economic policies in place usually are most affected and will take a long time to recover.

In my case I don’t used imported material for my products, I just don’t know where I started to decide that I shouldn’t used imported materials. Indeed I become resilient. When looking at my own products I don’t compare, giving much thought on how much I don’t have on those imported (branded) rather how effective it was to get the job done, cheaply and efficiently - after sales and readily available parts.

One thing besides shifting my mind from the being pessimist I would choose to worked on my philanthropy to help others, in that way I got my heart to be involved - this is the secret if the heart becomes part of the team, nothing is impossible.

These businesses is simple enough to make you become a millionaire.

laundry shop

food catering
junk shop

I have seen families started small on these and they have achieved a lot of their lives; own a home, cars, own other business, send their kids to schools (even help their kids build their own business), vacations, etc.

I don’t have them, what I did was to let someone do the work for me, that is I am not directly involved with the business itself which exclude me on problems it may arise.

This what makes sense, a person has to invest their income from a job but they have to work it out to acquire assets (maybe profits) until they can make those assets work for them not work for the money forever.

Business Empire
I spend so much time at the airport, the exclusive pass no longer extend to All access. I guess the authorities have change the rules but the services in which they are oblige to do is never met.

I bump an old friend at the parking lot, he was called Richie rich although his real name wasn’t Richie. He was ‘rich’ to many people who knows him because he had a lot of businesses, luxury cars, etc. I tried to block his way and a bodyguard almost reluctant to help his boss. He recognize me at the distance and urge me to have a talk with him at his restaurant. I could summarize the keywords of our conversation, ‘busy’, ‘no-time-for-vacation’, ‘employees problems’, ‘family problems’, and the list goes on.

I didn’t regret making that shift of my life towards doing great things. And the emphasis of spending my time on elevated emotion proves to be important. If I do the hard work to reach my goal in life, like getting rich but plunging myself in fear will only results on more problems, that’s the reason why many can’t have contentment in life. Rich on the level where people can only see, but deep inside they are suffering for scarcity.

Living in the past will create depression, living on the future, tripping on what might happen, will create anxiety.

How I wish I could write a journal for everything here so in the future I can glance around to see what had happen while listening to a particular title/s.

I will just try to remember things here…

I really enjoy Donald Trump decision on tariffs as it benefits my company a lot, but he pause it for a reason (a lot of people realize it wasn’t good to apply tariff to everything).

I heard this joke from a passerby, the creator made man and everything else is made in China - ha ha ha. They are the type of people who work a lot without pausing for a long talk about politics that’s why they are a way ahead on business - it will take more than just tariffs to make them feel an itch.

My primary business was doing fine with the daily maintenance rounds on our loyal clients but I can remember my mind keeps sparking these thoughts of doing the same menial jobs on the other side (branch companies but on different regions) and if we feel good about something while keep on thinking over it - it will surely become our own reality. So what happen is the mall manager/s have recommended my companies to every mall they had nationwide. I was only wanting to have a very small personnel as I am not planning for a huge company, but then I remember I had this training center where I have a hundred graduates - I was also planning to expose them on real ‘hands on’ training so they won’t have a problem with the real job - I asked HR to deploy them (OJT with pay). It will give them an experienced working away from home, working with different people with different personalities.

I had a chance to join a conversation with a friend of a friend. This was about flipping a home (this made me crazy when I enter the real estate business). He was frank to tell us that he never flip a good lot, he emphasize that lots are like cows - you don’t sell them and somehow regret to sell them cheap - after all they are a good investments - so they can produce more what you pay for - cows produce milk and more cows means more milk - alright that makes sense. I will take his advice.

I remember this line in Khan, that I will be challenge in my journey…

I thought I will be taking a vacation while having fun on my part-time fight club business but I have a rough day in spite of the smiles thrown to me. I been delegating much of the work in business - the managers fetch data back to me so I can get a better picture on what’s going on.

I put the whole place on my primary business as the research and development laboratory, everything now is modularized, sensor fed to a nodes like nerves to the body - and today it went to trouble, the cooling system won’t turn on. The whole is no longer entirely designed by engineer but by AI engineer - I wanted to know how it will stand for over a year.

I been watching the building management system on a monitor, showing me the status of the room - how cool, how much energy is was consuming, etc.

The system is like a computer optimization program where it will show you everything with reports the way things will be delivered.

I have a postpone meeting due to the glitched and when it was suggested to go to the other conference room, it rebooted (as shown on my monitor) then everything was alright. Probably in my suspicion some delegates are carrying threat malwares on their USBs - I was just informed that security level was upgraded on that conference room, maybe that’s the reason it isolated the area.

Well, the miss the other meeting.

I am curious what 4Eog can offer, I have chosen the 233 because in the previous version it was on stage III that I got all those opportunities without even lifting a finger but in this updated version it was really challenging - I got overwhelm with the ideas. I think stages 3 and 4 needs ample time to prepare.

The world is changing, in my warehouse business - what I observed from business meetings and interaction with my competitors they are opting to streamline their business, less workers and more A.I. and robots. In my own I already employed robots on jobs that I consider dangerous, and even if I know it will cut cost or make the process efficient I won’t be denying work for the unfortunate. But yes I already have rail robots on my compound delivering goods to piers and even near the airports, I also employ drones for transporting critical components to special clients.

A.I. indeed can master a business plan, it can even engineer a plan to effectively compete with foreign business that offer trades that are a disadvantage to my business.

Maybe A.I. will replace some engineers soon.

If this is the case where would people who don’t have access with this technology belongs?

I chosen not to become too dependent on foreign technology, most especially with A.I. - the cloud technology is not necessary for now.

Still enjoying the U.S. Tariff effects…

I love the limitation that my kindle have given me it creates a motivation that I long dreamed about and I thought I would never will be able to use my micro electronics designing skill that I learn in college.

I am prototyping a tablet or a pad that can be customize or modified or extended to what ever a user wants it be like.

I dreamed this in college to build a highly customizable computer (not those branded type) affordable and runs on Linux and not on Windows. I have already build several prototypes - no brand names, the user is free to name it his/her own. But still it is not complete local made the chips are foreign but I will get there soon.

A.I. companion box, this is a secret.
