Becoming a Hacker

@vaz I’d say listen to @Palpatine the most. Out of everyone, he has the most valuable insight and good advice regarding this.

Stark with Index Gate would pair nicely.

Now for my personal opinion, CEH is not real hacking. This has been said many times in the Cyber community. It’s more of a sys admin cert but still good for HR reasons. If you’re serious about hacking, I’d still go for the CEH and then complete the OSCP to have a well rounded knowledge of hacking. You’d want to go for the role of Penetration Tester if you want to work in corpo. Certs aren’t enough in this day and age. If your lucky, you get a Pen test role after the certs (Remember it’s not an entry level role). If not, you will need some kind of IT or Cyber experience.

Also the whole point of ethical hacking is to break systems to them report those issues so that companies can fix them and make it secure. Tho to @Palpatine point I get what he means and I agree.

You will need programming for Pen Test (Mostly Python) and no you can’t really automate hacking since every exploit is different.

I’d recommend Tryhackme or hackthebox while your using your stack so you get the experience in combination with the CEH and then OSCP cert.

Last but least, you will need some kind of sales and social skills. That will help you succeed for the interview process.

All in all, Stark + Index Gate will help the most with it. Maybe even GLM: The Co.

Pen Testing is not a entry level job so yes.

Ya the best one, on the good side and ideally in law enforcement!

Ah damn, so what is entry level jobs in this area? L have been hearing from friends that its nearly impossible these days to get a good tech job, not to mention the tech layoffs as well.

Get a job in tech is not very hard per say. Getting a job in cyber with no experience is hard.

Depends how willing and how long you want it to take to become a Pen Tester. I always recommend the army route. Work as a Cyber Operator (Cyber Operations Specialist | goarmy.com) there then leave when you can and then start applying to Cyber Security jobs but that’s not for everyone.

It’s not just on law enforcement, it’s everywhere. You can only pick sides.

But those who can masked that information, can confuse the world.

Palpatine is a smart bloke he might be a doctorate in psychology but he knows alot about other stuff.

IT role then Cyber role.

Or Degree or program where they put automatically with a Cyber Security internship.

The ultimate goal is becoming a hacker but I also want some problem-solving skills, or something along the lines of detective skills because I want to be in law enforcement. Would Index Gate help this or should i stack with something that greatly enhance my ability to problem solve?

I think a solid run of Quantum Limitless in there should help a lot.

Okay I just discovered the limitless lineup. How would limitless executive compare with index gate? My guess is the limitless is more geared toward overall learning and index gate is more about learning tech?

Stark + Index Gate + WB.

@AnswerGroup and @Forum_Ambassadors, I am thinking of ordering a custom with two of the black series ones like wanted black Revelation of Nectar. I have heard those standlone titles are in ZPv2 Max, so if I ordered them in a custom as cores, would the custom be ZPv2 Max?
