Hi all
If a title is released or updated (like Rebirth to DR: Phoenix) are there made interim updates to the audio files after that for fixing errors or mistakes? I speak about minor updates like in software from version 2.1 to version 2.1.2 or v2.2.0. For DR: Phoenix it would mean the title has the Version 1 on realease and later, after some fixing, or working in some changes, the version 1.1, etc. If so, how are I’m supposed to know? Should I download my titles frequently from my user account on the store?
I wouldn’t think in terms of subs being broken and needing a mend. This can be a mental block where you imagine a sub may have issues, and you must wait for some correction. Such patches are rare, but there are improvements as the tech evolves that are advertised on the forum. The file names change to reflect this in the downloads. If your uncertain or it’s been a while since you listened to a particular sub, just redownload it to know its the most current.
The filename is updated when there’s an update. We’re using a new naming scheme in which the latest version of the title is in the filename (saying something like Mar 2024, for example). If you come back and see “April 2024,” you’ll know it’s a new version.
We also send emails out periodically with all updates. We haven’t in a while because we knew we were going to update a bunch of titles and didn’t want to flood your email box.
That very helpfull. Thank you!
