Any tips to prevent or deal with recon symptoms

I decided to put this question up for anyone who may be struggling with Recon and any helpful tips that they used to overcome recon

for me I found reading a lot of fictional novels helped in addition to exercise, sleep and stress management/meditation/drawing and creating art. Reading novels with great storylines helped me reduce stress and sleep better before bed, there’s even research to prove it.

Take it slow, more rest days, shorter loops.

I have tried most of the recon busting techniques here, nothing is as effective & consistent as giving yourself more time to get used to the scripting.

Journaling & taking action also help a lot.

  • Take a walk in the outdoors (fresh air)
  • Breathwork or just taking deep breaths.
  • Hydrate, also try electrolytes.
  • Journaling

These things have helped me so far. Always good to learn how others deal with it for inspiration. Good topic :call_me_hand:

1:take a walk in the nature always helps me…
2:take a nap…
3:eat something nice…
4:chocolate bar or anything could cause a sugar high
5:sex
6:physical exercise
7:sun exposure
8:meditation
9:creative related activity like singing/writing…I vaguely remember some one used to say dancing can help too…
10:repeatedly deep breathing…
…that is pretty much what I help me a lot in terms of dealing with recon…

edit:this topic has been talking about for a long time…I guess the essence of it is how you channel that stuck energy…anything that can help with that goal is considered a good strategy…I think each person might have their own unique gimmick to accomplish that…in short, just do something makes you happy…that always helps

There are literally dozens of threads on this topic already. Use the search function and they’ll reveal their wisdom to you.

For me it’s bananamilk with a pinch of pink salt. Superb for electrolytes.

1 liter of water within one hour helps me. plus, regular physical activities like lifting weights or running. plus, don’t spoil yourself by junk food.

Being grounded and present. Laser focusing on goals.

That’s about it for me, lol.

Start taking cold showers. Begin by using lukewarm water. Gradually turn the knob down over the course of a couple of minutes. Once there is no hot water left, stay under the cold water for 1 to 5 minutes. You will feel very refreshed afterward. Over time, you may even become addicted to it. I take cold showers regularly.

For me:

  1. Good sleep.
  2. Food.
  3. Sunlight.
  4. Vitamins/supplements.
  5. Taking action towards goals
  6. Exercise/yoga

Sleep for me is by far the best for recon.

I didn’t read what everyone said so it probably already been said but imma say it anyways.

  1. Take a short break to allow the subconscious to finish processing

That’s good and all but if you are looking for an immediate relief you should

  1. Eat a rich chocolate dessert, my favorite is chocolate fudge, sugar in general will help.
  2. Drink more water.
  3. Get electrolytes, salt, magnesium and potassium.
  4. Expose yourself to sunlight.
  5. Workout.

All of this should give you an instant relief from the symptoms of recon, but again, if you are feeling overwhelmed you best take a small break until you feel like you can keep going.

Journal, journal and more journal…since i started journaling my recon is nearly nonexistant anymore…if i feel something stuck (mostly headaches) i start typing out what i am feeling…then the meat comes out…since I treat my journal here as my new best friend i could increasy my looplength by a lot and my reality is shifting faster and faster.

Can I know how you guys journal @Viktor @Risky @MechaShaman ? I have been quite a bit struggling with confusion. There are so many methods, I want to know - what works

Well, i just type out what i am feeling…and then most of the time something comes out that was hidden underneath the feeling. I guess it helps that i have allready 2 years of experience with theraphy.
But have a look at my journal.

It’s just writing non stop. No method or anything. It’s like your mind is and you just write that chaos out. You usually get clarity or a heaviness subsides.

If you want a book that does this it’s The Artists Way
