Anxiety, Depression, Trauma

Looking for advice, feedback, and insight that anyone can offer. My girlfriend has given me approval and is reviewing this post. She is currently on a three title stack Dragon Reborn: Limit Destroyer, Sanguine: The Elixir and Regeneration.

Her main goal is to heal past trauma and find deep consistent happiness. She deals with addiction (sober for 5 years), childhood trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She’s super self aware, has done tons of work to educate herself on tools to cope and continues to practice healing. Though just doesn’t feel it’s enough, feeling stuck and catching herself repeating patterns of sadness and self doubt.

She believes in subs but has been on and off, sometimes feeling the subs are what drives the sadness or harsh dreams making her relieve scary or traumatic scenarios. She doesn’t know if it’s better to take small breaks or to stick with it hoping for breakthroughs.

Was hoping to have her stick to her current stack for at least 3-4 solid months. Potential next stack, New Sanguine, New Love Bomb, and potential Dragon Reborn Multistage or Phoenix.

Please share if you have had similar experiences with depression and suicidal ideation followed by normal periods of happiness… bipolar and hormonal changes have been ruled out.

She will be reading all responses.

Running those 3 at the same time might be a recipe for hellacious recon. I’d personally suggest picking one to dive in with for a while.

I can’t even think of anything I’d add. They’re all good. Each is just strong as hell alone and each has a different approach.

Please be aware, Subliminal Club cannot treat nor claims to help depression and suicidal ideation, and we recommend against utilizing our subliminals in attempts to treat these conditions. We do not and cannot take responsibility for utilizing these subliminals for these purposes. Finally, we always recommend reading the medical disclaimer here https://www.subliminalclub.com/medical-disclaimer/ and contacting your healthcare professional.

Now, if you were to continue running our subliminals, take it extremely easy. Don’t slam yourself with a filled stack - start with just one, microlooping until you hit a sweet spot. Run it for a while (month+), see how you respond.

Easy and intuitive experience is the name of the game - take breaks if you need to, or even lower the amount listened. This is why going through the microlooping process is good - it allows you to see where your sweet spot is, and then easily adjust down if there’s too much reconciliation. This can happen, as different things being worked on can cause a different level in reconciliation.

Again, take it slow, no big stacks, no overexposing (I repeat - no overexposing), journal (quite important here, re-read every now and then for more insight into your inner processes), action and introspection.

Final tip

No overexposing.

Probably, like Fire said, you might not have a light enough stack and low enough listening. Limit Destroyer and Regeneration can both be intense. Sanguine: Elixir is definitely lighter… it can still cause recon of course but it’s a smoother ride.

Hi! This is the gf  I’m not going to act on anything and I have A LOT of support so I don’t want to alarm anyone!! I’m using subliminals as a supplement tool paired with journaling, therapy, support groups, and doctors.

@Fire I was more so curious if the subliminals could be causing more dark thoughts. I’ve been running full 15 minute loops because I wasn’t experience the physical effect like other describe as headaches, tiredness, or brain fog. Does reconciliation also come in the form of sadder days, scarier dreams…. or is it more physical.

Yea @Jouissance, I think I am going to take Limit Destroyer out of the stack to lighten the load.

I love the new Sanguine. It’s definitely helping my state of mind and mood. And yes, I can speak from experience of having had long-term depression and anxiety.

5 minutes of a loop seems plenty for me.

I find 3 subs too much, and even when I tackle 2 at once I usually alternate between rest days.

Hi, thanks for your feedback! Can you share your experience with recon in these scenarios? It’s hard to know if the darkness is beneficial / pushing through the trauma and towards resolutions?

I’ve read comments about people experiencing “darkness” but this may be different for others?

Also wondering if harsh dreams are part of the subconscious healing process or if those are signs of over exposure or recon.

For me, yes, recon can bring me in to a negative mental place. I don’t find any value in being there. I prefer to make slow steady improvements over the long haul.

The way I operate with recon is if I can feel the recon, and it’s noticeable but not disturbing, I know that I’m in my “sweetspot”

But if the recon is overwhelming, I know that I listened to a bit too much, or perhaps that something big came up that is being healed. So I’ll either change my listening schedule to overall listen to less, or just in that moment take an extra rest day to let myself heal what needs to be healed.

Either way though I’m never “powering through it.”

I think this is less of a “recon” sign, if there’s no other recon signs. But my fiancee also will gauge her recon based on intense dreams because her dreams get so intense that they disturb her waking life.

So again, it’s beyond “noticeable but not a problem” and into “problem for my life” mode and so she reduces listening time.

@Fire Covered most of what I was gonna recommend. It’s so important to self monitor and give yourself what you need. Don’t push yourself, listen to your body. I know that can be hard to do because trauma sometimes causes us to dissociate.

I have a lot of screw ups with my own subliminal journey and needing to learn how to find my limits and honor them for my personal level of exposure to the subs. That perceived breakthrough around the corner almost always isn’t as big as it seems and re-experiencing pain or hurting yourself for the sake of growth is not worth it. We are just so often told to push harder in life when things don’t work and it’s become this belief a lot of people carry that hurts them more than helps. Especially those who have struggled with some form of mental illness growing up who didn’t get support.

That being said I highly recommend the New Sanguine. And Genesis as a title is also really amazing for just starting to move into a space of exploration and more openness vs the very constrained feeling trauma can bring. Sometimes just building new experiences can help vs having a very tunnel visioned focus on healing.

Honestly, Genesis would be an excellent long term subliminal with lighter healing while also giving you a sense of hope and drive to be more adventurous and have fun. I listened to it for a short time but it was really enjoyable for me during a difficult time. I swear I weave in and out of difficult times since I was born, but now I am extremely resilient.

I grew up experiencing all sorts of mental illness (complex traumas) with various addictions and worked with many different practitioners and modalities to get to where I am at today. Finding this place has been a huge game changer for me.

I monitor very closely how I feel with subs because I have a sensitive nervous system with too much exposure. I have high flow factor too.

I did several cycles with only 2 titles in my stack and it went pretty well.

Aside from subliminals, it’s always important to have a daily spiritual practice. Breathwork, meditation and physical practice even as simple as stretching or walking around your neighbourhood. Working with a trusted professional who is empowering and encouraging. Bonus points if they understand subliminals!

Journalling your experiences here with others who can relate can help tremendously.

Community. Connection. Relatability.

one last thing

Sometimes I feel it’s better to not listen to direct healing subs but to listen to subs relating to your goals and ambitions. The healing naturally happens as you are productive and focusing on your purpose.

@TheEmpress this is super insightful, I’ll have her read this when she is off work. I know she is going to value your post.

Get so busy doing the things you love and enjoy that you don’t have time to think about “problems.” :hugs:

It’s like everything just fell away or melted away.

I agree with @TheEmpress about Genesis. It did pull me out of a depression fast. Yet I found dreams were wild and a bit intense.

this one is wonderful Id definitely keep it if I had to choose one

That sounds like a bit much…

Like, maybe she should start with Ascension for women or Stark, or some other unisex title that she resonates with. Just something light that she can use to start working toward her non-healing related goals.

Build a foundation of confidence, start winning, start feeling good.

Then, after a few months, she can revisit the idea of healing.

In my personal experience, getting results on non-healing titles was the first giant step that I took in healing myself.

It made me believe that it was possible for me to change, to grow, and to win.

Idk, ultimately, this is really something that she needs to feel out for herself.

Finally, there is absolutely nothing to be gained by over exposing herself to healing in the attempt to “heal faster”. One title, one single title is MORE than enough.

Couldn’t agree more with this, my subliminal journey got tons better when I began to embrace this ideology. Obviously everyone will be different but when I went hard on healing it felt like life kinda just stopped making progress, listening to something like Genesis and then adding in an occasional healing title if you notice any blockages could work wonders if you feel you’re stagnating and trapped in the negative.
