Amazon Leadership Principles

It seems that these principles are even valued by their competitors. As I’m in the process of interviewing for tech jobs, I notice most behavioural questions I get are in some shape or form connected to these principles as well. In sure they have value for various businesses besides tech. I don’t even have to analyse further but I’m almost certain principle 1 is at the core of SC values.

I’m starting to think and tinker how I would have worked in implementing and learning these principles. Ingraining them and cultivating them. Of course they are principles, a journey, not a goal.

Have you guys heard of them? What subs do you think fit the most for each principle? Say you have a long term goal to build these principles in you, and you might focus on one or a few at a time. This translates to running a certain stack for that time period.

I know ASBR is high up there. I know Limitless is good. Even the pure wealth titles. But I also want to hear you guys perspectives if you’re interested or willing to share and discuss.

PS: I know, Amazon is a controversial company. I’m more interested in these principles as companies seem to value them in employees, and I desire to become a top candidate.

After reading through it, I think Chosen and Limitless cover most, if not all, of these principles.

Damn man, it’s like the book the alchemist. He travels all over the world for the treasure he saw in a dream while sleeping in an abandoned building. Only to realise after years and after crossing oceans, deserts and countries , that the treasure was actually under that same building where it all started.

What I mean is, the first subs I bought was Chosen and Stark, and I never ran Chosen even once. It’s time.

Was gifted it by my parents for my 13th bday, I started reading it that night and was so entranced that I read it in one sitting and barely slept that night hahahaha

It’s a great sub, I think you’ll like it!

Great gift!

In one sitting here too, I’ve read it multiple times since then. It’s beautiful and you feel enlightened after reading it, every time. Energy, positivity, love, hope.

Check out The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho too, if you haven’t

That book, in the depths of my longing for purpose and a path, turned me back towards spirituality in a way that I’m very grateful for to this day
