Adjust ultrasonic volume with masked?

Today I was using ultrasonic version but then my ear started to hurt. So I measured the volume with my phone’s frequensee and it gave me -55 db. Just to be safe, I measured it with another phone and noticed it gave me -45 db, a difference of 10 db.
I guess I was listening too loud.

Plus if I start the masked version at the same volume, its volume is really high.

Are the two version volume related?

And if so, is it possible to adjust the volume of the utrasonic using the masked version?

Because of the differences in the audio technology the two are not leveled the same. You can play a masked track at a comfortable level and measure it’s volume on frequensee to see what level you like. Then after adjust the volume for your ultrasonic to match the level you liked for your masked track. It is because of this discrepancy that most people pick either masked or ultrasonic instead of choosing to listen to both

Is there any advantage of that approach?

Not really, more of a personal preference. For example a person might want to listen to masked during the day and ultrasonic at night (or vice versa).

I just switched from listening to masked to listening to ultrasonic because my listening setup has changed because I’m not at my house for at least the next week. But I prefer masked (I like knowing I can hear the track) so I will probably find a way to sneak in a few masked loops too

So if I measure for example -65 db for my masked comfortable level, I need to adjust the ultrasonic volume so I can measure -65 db with it too, right?
