My name is Sam and I am a lifelong martial artist. Having experience in various styles, tae kwon do, wrestling, jiu jitsu, tai chi, wing chun kung fu, silat, kali, judo, boxing, there is simply so much for me to comment on as far as my experience is concerned. I would love to see a general MMA product as opposed to a particular art (no ‘one’ style like BOXING PRODUCT or MUAY THAI product, let’s have a sensible product that applies to all possible ranges. Let’s be real, fighting encompasses multiple ranges and you have hardly covered all the possibilities for striking ranges. Kung fu arts open it up even more, which leads to wrestling and throwing arts, which leads to the ground) and have some key guidelines I believe are common sense:
-A general MMA product would include a broad intuition on when to best apply any given martial art or style/technique given that you are training various techniques and styles based on the ranges. Actual range calibration including rhythm, pacing, timing, and the internal sense of willpower must be higher than your opponent. The reason why is because without a higher level of violence, you cannot win a fight against a person who has a higher level of violence than you, thus you must calibrate and summon the REQUIRED intensity, rather than what you believe is required. This might have the added effect of giving you the required intensity for your goals in general. I believe due to my lifetime of experience that this one area of emphasis, being that a higher level of violence is required than your desired outcome, or perhaps your opponent will always need to be automatic, or intuitional or trained or simply effortless and always at the forefront.
'-Your existing martial arts products emphasize calibration, or easily reading your opponents intentions in other words. A general intuition about this including the motivations of people such as in survival instinct (aegis) would be helpful
-A general fitness/recovery booster would be helpful
I believe that there is the possibility to dismiss this for various reasons. One of those reasons might be that you feel as though the elements you included in muay thai/boxing mastery or other titles might help in these areas. What I believe you may be neglecting is the simple fact that these other broad ranges of martial arts might be simply too important to not have a broad range program which might ultimately become a super program such as your other multi stage titles. Consider when to apply wrestling, having the mindset of alexander karelin, when to intercept your opponent, when to apply WHAT tool at WHAT range. Wrestling is for up close if you want to take it that way (many times you simply dont have a choice or a luxury. People want to stifle you especially if they are bigger than you. I have been in fights where taking them down is the only option you have, because it’s the FIRST option you are given to protect yourself!)
Long fighting is best utilized with the mentality of closing the distance and emerging hip to hip with your opponent like how Tyson gets up in his opponents space to be hidden and ultimately brutal and decisive. All striking arts yet for some reason seem to teach people to maintain their distance. Quite the contrary, the ultimate violence and distance closing is needed in order to understand the soul of dominating with striking game which I have extensive personal experience of.
Opening is most effective for closing, closing is most effective for opening. The hands make an obstacle to overcome using kung fu, which was made to remove the obstacle of your opponents hands along a perfect centerline which forms an anatomical constant which can be improvised along, making you an improvisational master opening up whatever style best is needed depending on how they choose to operate along their own centerline, so THE CENTERLINE is the essential martial art. It is not muay thai or boxing, it is the centerline, meaning that there are three planes of anatomical motion possible period, frontal, saggital, and transverse which is spiral or a combined frontal with saggital. Frontal, hold your arms in front of you, saggital, move your arms side to side horizontal, now combine them and you create spirals or corkscrews or circles combined with your own footwork. This is a full body understanding of every style of martial arts that is conceivable, a certain hunger of violence which is available to the truly free mind, unburdened by any given style.
This is why a true program combining elements of centerline, dominance calibration (to ensure you have a higher level of violence than whatever opponent or obstacle you are facing, rather than whichever level of dominance you would personally prefer to possess instead experience the required higher calibration level of violence applying technique)
This is truly a general MMA concept applying all conceivable ranges of fighting, dominating and submitting opponents. This intuition should apply to hand held weapons, it should apply to gun safety and predicting and reading people’s minds based on how they talk compared to how they move.
Worlds of philosophy are what Bruce lee released in his Tao of jeet Kune do, based purely on his ability to compare people’s words to their movements. A bible of interpreting intentions was produced by this martial artist.
Finaloly, a philosophical underpinning requires that “if you hurt somebody, you are responsible for their healing” to finally purify your use of this ultimate power to rightfully claim it as your own. You cannot wield such power without being responsible for it, and if you hurt somebody then you should intuitively know how to heal that person and heal yourself as well, to become the ultimate vessel of the art of self expression. Not only this, you should learn to embody this reading of human intention to embody the art of fighting without fighting, reading intentions so deeply and so predictively, so causally, so anatomically and primally that you know everybody better than they know themselves simply by walking into a room if you so desire. This is the art of fighting without fighting, to accompany this ultimate skillset and ferocity you are required to gather to yourself as you progress in your physical training.
The true MMA program we have been wanting for!
You know you want it!
You know we must have it!
I also heard you are working on the HERO line of products? it is time. Make it include the required elements or else you cannot be a perfect master martial artist. It is time to embody the Dual arts of opening and closing fist, the Essence of the tao, the duality of fighting without fighting and the art of self expression. Two arts, one goal, ultimate mastery over life itself.
The art of self expression, the art of fighting without fighting.
