A qualified suggestion for a very kickass new product!

My name is Sam and I am a lifelong martial artist. Having experience in various styles, tae kwon do, wrestling, jiu jitsu, tai chi, wing chun kung fu, silat, kali, judo, boxing, there is simply so much for me to comment on as far as my experience is concerned. I would love to see a general MMA product as opposed to a particular art (no ‘one’ style like BOXING PRODUCT or MUAY THAI product, let’s have a sensible product that applies to all possible ranges. Let’s be real, fighting encompasses multiple ranges and you have hardly covered all the possibilities for striking ranges. Kung fu arts open it up even more, which leads to wrestling and throwing arts, which leads to the ground) and have some key guidelines I believe are common sense:

-A general MMA product would include a broad intuition on when to best apply any given martial art or style/technique given that you are training various techniques and styles based on the ranges. Actual range calibration including rhythm, pacing, timing, and the internal sense of willpower must be higher than your opponent. The reason why is because without a higher level of violence, you cannot win a fight against a person who has a higher level of violence than you, thus you must calibrate and summon the REQUIRED intensity, rather than what you believe is required. This might have the added effect of giving you the required intensity for your goals in general. I believe due to my lifetime of experience that this one area of emphasis, being that a higher level of violence is required than your desired outcome, or perhaps your opponent will always need to be automatic, or intuitional or trained or simply effortless and always at the forefront.

'-Your existing martial arts products emphasize calibration, or easily reading your opponents intentions in other words. A general intuition about this including the motivations of people such as in survival instinct (aegis) would be helpful

-A general fitness/recovery booster would be helpful

I believe that there is the possibility to dismiss this for various reasons. One of those reasons might be that you feel as though the elements you included in muay thai/boxing mastery or other titles might help in these areas. What I believe you may be neglecting is the simple fact that these other broad ranges of martial arts might be simply too important to not have a broad range program which might ultimately become a super program such as your other multi stage titles. Consider when to apply wrestling, having the mindset of alexander karelin, when to intercept your opponent, when to apply WHAT tool at WHAT range. Wrestling is for up close if you want to take it that way (many times you simply dont have a choice or a luxury. People want to stifle you especially if they are bigger than you. I have been in fights where taking them down is the only option you have, because it’s the FIRST option you are given to protect yourself!)

Long fighting is best utilized with the mentality of closing the distance and emerging hip to hip with your opponent like how Tyson gets up in his opponents space to be hidden and ultimately brutal and decisive. All striking arts yet for some reason seem to teach people to maintain their distance. Quite the contrary, the ultimate violence and distance closing is needed in order to understand the soul of dominating with striking game which I have extensive personal experience of.

Opening is most effective for closing, closing is most effective for opening. The hands make an obstacle to overcome using kung fu, which was made to remove the obstacle of your opponents hands along a perfect centerline which forms an anatomical constant which can be improvised along, making you an improvisational master opening up whatever style best is needed depending on how they choose to operate along their own centerline, so THE CENTERLINE is the essential martial art. It is not muay thai or boxing, it is the centerline, meaning that there are three planes of anatomical motion possible period, frontal, saggital, and transverse which is spiral or a combined frontal with saggital. Frontal, hold your arms in front of you, saggital, move your arms side to side horizontal, now combine them and you create spirals or corkscrews or circles combined with your own footwork. This is a full body understanding of every style of martial arts that is conceivable, a certain hunger of violence which is available to the truly free mind, unburdened by any given style.

This is why a true program combining elements of centerline, dominance calibration (to ensure you have a higher level of violence than whatever opponent or obstacle you are facing, rather than whichever level of dominance you would personally prefer to possess instead experience the required higher calibration level of violence applying technique)

This is truly a general MMA concept applying all conceivable ranges of fighting, dominating and submitting opponents. This intuition should apply to hand held weapons, it should apply to gun safety and predicting and reading people’s minds based on how they talk compared to how they move.

Worlds of philosophy are what Bruce lee released in his Tao of jeet Kune do, based purely on his ability to compare people’s words to their movements. A bible of interpreting intentions was produced by this martial artist.

Finaloly, a philosophical underpinning requires that “if you hurt somebody, you are responsible for their healing” to finally purify your use of this ultimate power to rightfully claim it as your own. You cannot wield such power without being responsible for it, and if you hurt somebody then you should intuitively know how to heal that person and heal yourself as well, to become the ultimate vessel of the art of self expression. Not only this, you should learn to embody this reading of human intention to embody the art of fighting without fighting, reading intentions so deeply and so predictively, so causally, so anatomically and primally that you know everybody better than they know themselves simply by walking into a room if you so desire. This is the art of fighting without fighting, to accompany this ultimate skillset and ferocity you are required to gather to yourself as you progress in your physical training.

The true MMA program we have been wanting for!

You know you want it!

You know we must have it!

I also heard you are working on the HERO line of products? it is time. Make it include the required elements or else you cannot be a perfect master martial artist. It is time to embody the Dual arts of opening and closing fist, the Essence of the tao, the duality of fighting without fighting and the art of self expression. Two arts, one goal, ultimate mastery over life itself.

The art of self expression, the art of fighting without fighting.

You’re looking for SPARTAN. It has combat scripting and general fitness/recovery, along with the mindset of a combat athlete. This doesn’t need to go on the roadmap.

Hi Sam,

No one cares about your martial arts experience. So, you could have just asked for an MMA Mastery X, similar Boxing and Muay Thai Mastery X, instead of writing all that fluff.

But then it won’t have all of the other stuff that you asked for, like fitness and recovery, and combat awareness, and knowing how to escalate violence, because those are all parts of spartan and Boxing Mastery X and Muay Thai Mastery X, alongside all the other X titles, are short and succinct skill-specific titles that would help you practice all the skills of MMA.

PS: if you’re going to continue insulting people in your responses your responses and suggestions will just get ignored all the sooner.

Nice idea. But I don’t think, they will release anything like this anytime soon.

But from custom perspective you can have
mindset of a spartan (Spartan)
Fluidity of hero (HERO)
Some skills of boxing mastery(Muay thai and boxing mastery)

This is the closest you can get to a MMA product with the available products

chill out bro, no need to be so passive aggressive.

This topic is temporarily closed for at least 8 hours due to a large number of community flags.

I’ll re-open this topic for now as there is a potential interesting discussion for the forum members, but tone it down with the replies @SamuelB - if you want to continue posting on the forum.

Speaking generally, I don’t know why new members think they can come in and start speaking in a disrespectful tone (isn’t the first time, and it always ends the same), but this isn’t how we do things at Subliminal Club, contrary to 99% of other online forums where trolling and disrespectful replies are common.

If you have an idea you want to propose, do so respectfully - and respectfully answer to other members when they respond to you.

As for the idea itself, it’s not the worst, however it sounds like a kitchensink attempt - Spartan covers most of these, and most of the other functions can be found in other titles.

Furthermore, some features are most definitely an issue, such as hand held weapons and a higher level of violence - that’s a quick way for someone to get shot and when asked why they did it, they go “SubClub made me do it!” - no, thank you, we aren’t getting into that legal and ethical nightmare.

With that said, the information provided could be considered, hence @Detective_L is correct - roadmap is the way to go.

Hi i appreciate the reply. I’m not sure what you found disrespectful in my honest opinion. I don’t mean to be rude, but not being able to post on your online forum doesnt sound like the worst fate given how new ideas can be treated. I come from a tradition where you crush ego, it comes across as disrespectful often times and unfortunately can cause conflicts at times. I just wanted to make it clear that this was a qualified informal criticism to include in a sorely neede general MMA product.

So lets start from that standpoint instead of getting hung up on some of the particulars of what is being said word wise, as for your toning it down comment, I only take that as an invitation to discuss and clarify further and as a genuine interest in my concept, which was given to me by one of the world’s leading experts and highest authorities, perhaps in the top ten of people alive on this earth who come from the direct lineage of Bruce lee, considered one of the original MMA pioneers and who was a genius far ahead of his time.

To make a long story short, you can easily apply scripting and disclaimers as for the willpower scripting. Violence was the term he used when instructing me, but higher level of willpower according to what is required and not desired necessarily would also be useful, according to context such as self defense, legitimate competition, or simply achieving goals in life in general. My goal is obviously to be sensible and if you think I’m suggesting that you run around with guns and point them at people, perhaps we all need to tone it down a little bit.

Anyways, I sincerely appreciate the effort to dig a bit deeper with this topic, things can get heated at times. However, that is not to suggest that my advice is invaluable to a general mma product if you want to make one moving forward into the future. I certainly won’t be needing such a product, but you can keep commenting back with your criticisms and feedback

Due to a high number of flags, the system has automatically put a restriction on your posting ability and I’ve had to manually approve your response.

Be aware, this forum is not part of your tradition, and here we have our own rules.

If you remove such sentences from your posts on this forum, you’ll find all the members more than welcoming and willing to participate in discussions with you.

If you are unwilling or unable to do so, I’d suggest finding a different forum as it is very unlikely you (and the other forum members) will have a positive experience here.

I’m like you brother I love martial arts and always have, I’ve consumed so much content of it and done so much of it I’ve declared obsession.

I might not be the sort of “expert” you are at this time but it doesn’t matter because these subs exceeded my expectations and they will yours too; that’s what they’re designed to do

My entire viewpoint on martial arts has changed, it’s become such a place of power to me, given I’ve used it for more than a few cycles….

Try it out, even the Muay Thai mastery one with Spartan has made me a confident boxer and wrestler, in addition to (Muay Thai) because you know how deeply connected these martial arts are since you’ve done so much

Balance, timing, hand eye, calm

It’s across the board

Sure, take all of those comments out of context to prove your points, you’re doing a great job. :100:

Who could have predicted that people would say mean things to you if you aggressively disrespected them at first? I couldn’t, that’s a crazy concept. :100:

You’re completely in the right, we shouldn’t have been impolite to you when you were being disrespectful to us.
You’re the only one who has the right to be arrogant like that, not us. Our deepest apologies for committing treasons, king. :100:

Okay, I see you have no interest in being part of this community.

I wish you all the best with some other subliminal company.

Goodbye.
