Yes – hoping that you notice recon occurring about 25% less, as well as a marked decrease in the intensity of recon.
I would say that it did. It’s hard to make the connection without long, rambling treatises, but it definitely played a large role.
Still working on them. Right now, when I attempt to turn them into the Solace format and running them through Q, we get this annoying stereo imaging issue where some of the sounds seem to “spiral” around the listener, especially if you’re using Airpods with the 3D audio sound. And while I could just release them with the legacy specs, it just doesn’t sound good. I WANT MY SOLACE =x
Those are my favorite though
Shouldn’t sound effects like 3D audio be switched off for subs anyway?
Never know it might give the conscious a more interesting stimulus and make them more effective
Or just cause dizziness
As someone who gets little to no recon, even though I don’t take much physical action but still greatly benefit from running Zero Point in terms of both internal shifts and real-life results, I can tell that what has yielded the best results—and actually 90% of them—has been strictly related to shifting my self-image rather than taking physical action and experiencing its direct results, and testing those shifts in my self-image against “reality” through the lenses of the NSE.
Therefore, to me, “flow factor” is something a bit different than how it is understood on the forums. It’s not only this:
but first of all, the ability to contemplate (introspect) my self-image without flinching. It’s looking at my self-image as if it were an object “beyond me” and not the real me—not entirely. This ability is based on radical self-honesty, yet with total detachment from what I see as myself (detachment from my self-image) and from inner experiences (emotions, bodily sensations, and thoughts) during the act of seeing.
The only instances of recon occurring in me are when I do flinch upon seeing radical shifts in my self-image—or I should rather say, upon exploring its new facets that contradict some vital facets of it I’ve known for years.
ZP is a never-ending truth trial for my self-image indeed. The NSE has added an invaluable factor to it. It lets my life experiences take part in the trial (shifting my self-image), and thanks to that, the whole trial isn’t limited as much by my… “imagination” anymore.
Hi Saint, I sent you a quick DM about your post. I hope you can check it out when you get a chance. Thanks!
I’m… at a loss for words, lol. There are very few times when I pat myself on the back, but I really can’t believe that the anti-recon scripting is working as well as it is. Let’s see what happens, however, once those who are responding well to the anti-recon scripting begins to dig deeper. May need an implementation for that.
It’s a balancing game, however. Every new addition of anti-recon means less features. The question becomes – which is more important? Less features that are more meaningful with more anti-recon, or less anti-recon while having a wider assortment of features?

By features do you mean objectives? Also with how well things are going with the anti recon tech already I dont think its going to take much more to balance but meh I also wont pretend I understand any of this lol.
I forgot to mention yesterday but Art of War did help with the recon from Heartsong. It went from “Promised Consort Heartsong: Blade of SubClub” Fromsoftware secret boss nightmare to just Heartsong lmao it was pleasant and it seems to open up different types of pathways to heal via introspection but with the Anti Recon tech it just makes the process a lot more direct and easier to understand.
Probably way to soon to say but this might also be a huge step forward for people who are very stubborn/hardheaded and tend to deflect results and also the hard gainers
Anti-recon makes more sense, alot of people seem to complain about only being able to play microloops, getting into recon hell or overload
I’d rather play a subliminal with 5 features and it be a smooth experience and get all its benefits than one with 10 and try to carefully recalibrate my listening time each listen so as to avoid recon/overload
As much as i want more features, less recon is the wiser choice.
I don’t understand the paradigm & question
There is a limited amount of space in every script. If we add more anti-recon scripting, there is less space for features. The question is: do you want more anti-recon scripting (smoother experience) or more features in the title?
… why not both? though 2 versions for each title (anti-recon or slighlty ‘pro’ version with 1 or 2 objectives more) isn’t customer friendly at all.
I would rather have more features, and then have a separate module for anti-reconciliation.
Would putting more anti-recon scripting in result in customs having too much in there?
Or Q engine can prevent that issue by cutting that?
Imo more anti-recon tech can be nicer in titles that reveal more traumas and whatnot. Manifestation heavy titles like R.I.C.H. can use more feature heavy approach.
So balance can be determined on nature of the title…
What about creating separate title for Anti-recon that won’t be considered as “3rd” title? Something like Ascension Chamber.
That could work, AC is in need of an upgrade anyways and if it works it means SubClub can still go with the features they want while also giving out Anti Recon. Art of War is already helping me out with my stack as a whole
It depends how much features scripting vs anti-recon scripting. I think 50% features 50% anti-recon would be too much but I’d be willing to give up 10% features in favor of anti recon so a 90/10 or 95/5 ratio.
What is the current ratio with the first iteration?
The problem with anti recon is that, after more than half a year of continuous use, it’ll be guaranteed to become less useful for most people. It’s borderline useless after you get no recon at all.
Unless you have a deep seated recon that requires more than half to a full year to solve, the new anti recon scripting should be enough.
As a resident “use subs as long as possible”, I vote for more features.
+1 Features
I’m sure some will use the anti-recon scripting as an excuse to try to overload.
I remember when Sanguine first came out, and it was pointed out that Sanguine would help alleviate some of the recon symptoms, someone literally posted that now that we had Sanguine “I can squeeze in more loops!” (This is when we still had multiple loops per day as the M.O.)
