30 second progression over 15 minute title

I was curious about something concerning micro loops.

When using this 30 second listening method, it makes sense to listen, on each listening day, first from minute 0:00 to 0:30, then the next day from 0:30 to 1:00, then from 1: 00 to 1:30, etc, until you get to minute 15? Or do we always have to start from the first 30 seconds of the audio?

Edit:
I ask the question with the idea that one can absorb the entire script despite listening to it for 30 seconds.

And another question. Would this type of 30-second progression neglect the Primer, which is perhaps found at the beginning of the audio?

It’s just the first 30 seconds, every time

you could probably get some value from listening to a different 30 second chunk every time… idk… but from my understanding, ZPv2 (aka experimental ZP then made official) was updated to make “microloops” even more effective - so they probably packed more into that first 30s to make microlooping more effective

Interesting.

(I invite you to also read the edit I added later to have a better understanding of the question if you want).

Don’t neglect to put in a support ticket - unless Saint answers directly, consider any answers speculative or at best based on readings and remembering of things Saint said

Especially with the edits you made

But IIRC saint was also surprised that microloops were as effective as they were, maybe because he also assumed that being exposed to that little of a script would be so helpful?

For ZPv2, the metaphor for microloops was compared to music

“once you’ve heard the full song (3-15 minutes), your brain will be reminded of the song even if you only hear the first 30 seconds, the same way you can instantly recognize a song after just listening to a couple of seconds of it as it starts”

That was the comparison made

I’m curious what’s changed, now that the recommendation is to start ZPv2 MAX titles at 30-60s loops for your first exposure… aka, only listen to the first part of the song, not the whole song

And tbh even 1 minute of DRLD gave me insane recon, so 1 min is obviously enough of the script to mess with my head like that

I could be wrong but the way I see it you want to use the first 30s until you acclimate to it. Then go to 1 minute, the next 30s interval. It’s like building a mini foundation on the sub.

Even if you don’t get the whole script on the 30s it doesn’t matter really because if 30s kicks up enough recon for growth more exposure isn’t gonna guarantee better results.

Just take a look at how Saint uses this strategy. He doesn’t divide it into chunks. He just gradually increases the exposure length, gauging the effects. There’s nothing more to it.

What he said, when I started shortening my loops I got more results and less recon

It’s just applying that old method of finding your “sweet spot” when it comes to the exposure. Sweet spot = the “perfect balance” between your results and recon. There’s no shame in running micro loops when others may be running full loops. Let’s not be boys comparing the length of their juniors in the school’s toilet. lol

On microloops.

I would just like to take a moment to acknowledge that you tend to write thoughtful answers to people.

Me too

are customs made in ZPv2 MAX?

Yes. Customs are currently in ZP v2 MAX.
