1 minute vs 3 minute micro loops

I started running 3 minutes microloops and even that is making me sleepy. Not as much as 15 minutes did though. How is this possible?
Should I switch to one minute micro loops? Is anyone running that?
My stack is New Emperor + Emperor Black + Nouveau RICH. I started on Jan 1st.

How long does the sleepiness last? If it is short enough, I would just listen in the evening.

I usually listen the tracks in the morning and the sleepiness usually starts in the late afternoon and I would fall asleep in my chair anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour.

Good call though. Maybe I should keep it to three minutes but listen right before going to bed.

Are you following the 3 title listening suggestions or are you listening to all 3 at once?

Come on now!!! I’ve been here long enough to know better than listening to 3 tracks in one day! :joy:
Actually I’m doing something similar to what Fire described here but with 3 minute loops.

That’s perfect for me. You have to be relax but not to go to sleep. If for some reason you become uncomfortable then stop.

Listen to the entire 15 minutes. How can anyone get anything from one to three minute loops? I guess maybe if you’re willing to work and wait for years that’s probably true. Just doesn’t make sense

I ran 1 cycle of HeO for around 1m each (i started from 30s then added 10s every listening day). It opened my eyes about the power of microlooping.

Microlooping also help me deal with the recon from WB, unproductivity from LBFH, and overload from AC.

You should try lowering it and find how much exposure works best for you.

I’m running this schedule too. It feels more dense even with subs that are usually easy for me to run.

I’m reducing the exposure and it works well in reducing the load

It probably took forever to see results but ok

Because if you overload your subconscious processing queue, you’re not going to be getting as good results as if you kept your queue going smooth.

We’ve explained this to you already James.

I’ll start doing this on my next listening day. I’m not leaving anything to chance this year!

You’re literally talking to one of the two people who know how the thing is scripted! :slightly_frowning_face:

@Fire why make a sub 15 minutes if it’s so often recommended to do far less than that ?

I think it caters for all different people.
It also ensures that you keep growing with the title.
30s then 1min then 3min and so on.

Lol yeah man I just had to ask. People experiment all the time on here I lose track.

But I get sleepy from the subs too. I usually run them when I get home from work. There’s a window of time for me, too close to sleep and my brain gets active. Too early in the day and it’s like my focus gets pulled two different directions at once and I start getting tired because I can’t do my work at my job and the inner processing.

I would say only go down in exposure for the loop if you notice a lot of recon or the tiredness sticks around after sleep too. But right now I’m back to 30s for all my titles in my stack after pushing it with 2 minutes. So I definitely utilize microloops a lot.

Hi @Fire how are you my dear friend ?. Don’t mean to derail the thread however despite me using micro loops I never seem to get any effects. However if i use the full 15 mins every other day the results are fantastic. I am sure there are minority of us where microloops just do not work.

I think the idea is to listen to how you are reacting. No effect: Longer. Too much effect in the form of recon: Shorter.

@AnswerGroup there are confusions about microloops can you make support article for this

Maybe it would be best to have the subs run for the full exact length of each script, like 3 or 5 min and then people can decide if they want to listen to it again, counting two loops max or would there be issues with this?. It seems then there is no question if all the script has been received.

It just sounds easier than having to chop up tracks. I don’t use sleep timers because they begin from when you set the timer, not press play, and the one on my phone has no fade out at the end so I find that quite jarring when it ends.

Let’s say you go hunting and have 50 shells of ammo. 1 good shot and you get a nice roast. Firing all 50 shots and all you get is ground meat.
If you get hunted by a pack of wolves, the 50 shots might be exactly what you need.

Other example. You wanna butcher the deer? A big knife would be great. For a brain surgeon on the other hand that would lead to severe damage on the brain.
