I’d say so. As long as they are capable of producing a response comparable to standalone speakers of decent quality.

The real issue with phone and laptop speakers before was with Ultimas, as the ultrasonic component was being rendered poorly on crappy speakers.

Based on the List of Certified Subliminal Club Headsets and Earbuds for Maximum Results it would appear that Bluetooth is acceptable. You can also find some discussion on this thread: Is JBL Xtreme Bluetooth speakers okay for ultrasonics?.
