bruh… what do I do now? Lol produced a song, finished up a business plan, and I got so much energy left
This is legit the most productive day ive had in months, thanks LE
Bruh I completed a weeks worth of tasks in 2hrs this sub is a problem cause I dont know what to do for the rest of my day LOL
Yeah this experiment was a crazy one. Bring back WB lol I wanna see if I can still maintain this level of productivity
Yeah I think im gonna run Khan Black for next few months. @RVconsultant can you update the title to Xavier Chronicles - Chapter 4: Momentum (KB + NR + Stark)
The results of self-discipline, yes. Do you think WB helped?
@RVconsultant strangely enough WB had nothing to do it or subclub in general
I’ve always made it a habit of mine to go to the gym, its like therapy for me
never ran any workout subs, maybe 1 loop of emp fitness when i was a noob
Also been going to the gym consistently 4-5 times a week minimum for about 3 years.
Went from 160 to 185-190lbs during this time period
DUDE! You’re talking 25 to 30 of muscle, yes?
yup, same body fat % at 160 im now with the same at 190
But the real changes started to happen in my 2nd year when i just got serious about diet
started to eat more protein and then I went from 165-180 in like 2months, then cut and hovered at 170-175 for awhile
I workout wayyyyy less now so dont expect any gains from me lol I dont wanna be big or 200. thats just too much imho
Congratulations on your results!
May people read this above interaction and realize that they themselves CAN make a difference with self-discipline!
A number of years ago, I was talking with a friend of mine who worked out with body builders. I asked “Where do they get their clothes?” He said that off the rack, it’s not easy, and it’s limited. Custom made was the other option. Also if I understand correctly the more muscle, the more working out and more calories are needed to maintain.
Yeah. Exactly. Have you ever seen a bodybuilder wear a suit or some fitted clothing? It looks hilarious tbh. Just unnatural.
And gaining muscle past a genetic threshold becomes the law of diminishing returns. Like I know dudes who workout for like an 1hr and 30 mins 6 days a week at 200 and gain 5 lbs over the span of the year LOL.
Like so much work.
Meanwhile im at 185-190 lbs chilling working out max 40 mins a day and able to look really good in any type of clothes
Ah its not discipline tbh
Its just enjoying the process tbh
I enjoy the result and benefit of the workout so much more than the small discomfort. I enjoy the discomfort oddly enough.
So yeah its just adjusting your perspective and bam procrastination disappears.
Ive always been into sports and the gym and physical health has always been something I loved.
Mike Metzer was an advocate of shorter workouts. HIIT. Dorian Yates was, too.
Metzer in one of his books made a comment about - to paraphrase - “is there any evolutionary advantage to be as big as a professional body builder” and his answer was “no”.
These are profound points. This is wisdom!
