William’s Winning Wayfare

So… i fell for the temptation and used LBFH today instead of WB :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :100:

the effects & manifestations are super quick like usual. i want to go into depth about them but everything is just like what I have written in my journal about LBFH above. it’s the best sub ever.

Well, i already figured out about observing the pulse & latch, vipassana, and about expectations. I also have reconciled with WB’s recon. There’s not a lot of reason to use WB anymore

i will miss the emotional control scripting but i already got what i needed from it.

Switching to LBFH is going to rock the stability again, sub hopping always does. but… to be honest, I’m just rationalizing my decision right now. the underlying fact is, I’m dying to use LBFH and i don’t find WB to be useful anymore for my goals.

Update 1:

It was not a fluke, the manifestations are still happening even now.
I have been using LBFH for 6-7 cycles and it still surprises me every time.

I feel really good, fuller & whole. people around me are kinder & more enthusiastic when talking with me, people who haven’t contacted me in a while suddenly messaged me, working is more fun, everything is much more fun. i can go on and on about what happened in just a day of using the new LBFH.

LBFH is too good of a sub.

observing the pulse & latch is really useful when used with LBFH. I don’t cling to the positive emotions more than necessary.

i need to find the actual name for observing the pulse & latch, it’s something that i came up with by myself to describe the emotional control method that i found when i stacked HeO & WB. I can’t be the first one to find it, there must be a name for this technique already somewhere out there.

Maybe it’s just an inferior version of what true vipassana can be though.

I thought i was going to be overloaded since i ran LBFH + Mogul for 15m each this morning. It has only been 4 days since the last time i played WB so i didn’t follow the 12 day stack rotation rule.

I don’t feel any overload, weird. I crossed the 12 day rule for LBFH & the 7m30s limit for Mogul.

Well, I’ll take it as a one time anomaly.

This meme made me tweak my approach to vipassana and now i can observe a bit easier.

The manifestations really come from anywhere

i only listened to LBFH once and the familiar effects are returning quickly.

other than the one i wrote above, what stands out a lot is the inner talk.
“even if I’m …, i will be fine”. just like the first time i used LBFH.
the self assuredness is through the roof.

Guys, please be careful with meditation. I used this book to meditate and it left me emotionless, ambitionless, without any drive to live life, achieve goals, etc. I got extremely detached, full depersonalization and derealization. It got so bad to the point that I lost interest in talking to anyone and even didn’t care when my granmda died literally in front of me.

Meditation might work for some and might not work for others, please observe your inner being.

Thankyou for the warning.
I’m going to do it in moderation.

The biggest reason i do meditation is to improve my efficiency when i work, detaching from what’s unnecessary so i can focus more on what matters. If it lowers my productivity, I’d be able to tell and pull back.

If you want, you could try this:

Strong determination sitting

Sit on the edge of a chair, close your eyes, straight back. And focus on not moving at all. Only breathing. Just sit like that, don’t move at all, don’t even swallow (that’s the hardest part). Start with 1 min, add 1 min every day or a few, build up to 30

It’s also recommended to do a 15min buteyko session prior to that

Strong determination is really hardcore to start with. Like I have done 3 hour Strong determination sits it’s gives you crazy experiences but not really anything that change your life.

Depends what we call life changing. Because I’m my example, meditation was life changing but for the bad

And strong determination sitting wasn’t a game changer for me but had a good effect on my willpower.

What truly was really helpful and I believe it has the potential to be life changing is image streaming

i have tried image streaming too but i haven’t been able to stick with it, lol.

one thing that was life changing in a bad way for me is the new age stuff. not that they are bad, but they have been oversimplified so much that i understood it wrong and developed bad self destructive habits from it.

that took me a few years to fix, even now I’m still discovering small leftovers from it.

I did image streaming for 6 months before burning out - should’ve been more flexible with my schedule. But the gains are very well worth it

As for new age, yeah, I agree. Especially this “you don’t even need to lift a finger” stuff

how do you like to do image streaming? there are a lot of sources on how to do it, but the details are often slightly different from one source to the other.

  1. Sit down, set a timer, close your eyes
  2. Describe every spontaneous image that you see in your imagination out loud, as fast as possible, in as much sensory details as possible
  3. If image changes, describe what you currently see
  4. Use present tense and “I”

Something like “I see a red apple in front of me, it’s cold and hard, its surface is smooth and cold, also a bit wet and it smells sweet…” and so forth

Start with 10 min per day, 5d/week. Build up to 45 mins. Take a 5 min break every 15 min

Yea most meditations are extremely watered down to make it more accessible to the public.

Never heard of doing image streaming that way interesting.

it’s weird that you and @SwedishBuddha never heard about IMS in that way because that’s the standard procedure.

I thought the same as you about Phoenix when I first read the description. Also, the “This is not for the faint hearted” comment put me off. However, for some reason a few days ago I went to the forum thread and saw that everyone is having incredible results fast and apparently quite easily. I was also putting off healing subs, but the truth is that emotional blockages can affect us in all areas of life and development. While listening to LBfH (also a big fan) I got clarity and certainty that I would be OK with Phoenix, so I have added it to my stack now.
I encourage you to have a look at the thread. People there have mentioned emotional regulation.

I didn’t think about reading the testimonials, rofl.

If people here are saying phoenix is easy, It’s more reassuring. NSE should have made it smoother.
i’m gonna consider using it too.

Cycle 10 day 7

LBFH 3m + Mogul 6m30s + AC 1m40s

That was dense but not as dense as when i played LBFH 15m + Mogul 15m + AC 7m.
I believe 5m for Mogul is better than 7m30s with this schedule.

the next 3 days will be rest days, then i will listen to HeO + Mogul on day 11
