Titles Evolving vs. Title Refinement

Concept i want to discuss here is the titles getting updated.

Would you rather if the title objectives/goals kept same as possible or titles evolving into a something a new.

Biggest example i could give here is the Daredevil evolving; “Become More Social, Master Social Interactions” into “Embrace Adventure, Craft Stories etc…”

So which one do you prefer:

  • Just updating to the latest tech is fine.
  • Adding new stuff that brings faster results is fine as long as the goals kept similiar.
  • I prefer goals of the title evolve along with updates.

It’s hard for me to vote on this particular example you gave because I have bias on this title, I purchased Daredevil by mistake few months ago and decided to keep it, but if I had a choice I would love to try the previous version that is more about socializing than crafting stories, (by the way if someone has the version before new update I’d love to get it, I can show you proof of purchase…)

Apart from this example I think it’s fun that the producers bring different new angles to existing titles, for the reasons that the world is evolving and themselves as people are evolving so it makes the updated titles even better in all ways, and the fact that if you really like a program the way it is you have the choice to keep the older version and listen to it as you wish, even though the technology in delivery is still progressing, I think anything ZPv2 is very efficient as it is and bring incredible results.

As much as NSE is a great addition and bring such an integrated way of experiencing results, I personally also really like the unique impact the titles without NSE have, I’m mentioning this to say that running an older version without the latest upgrade is not an issue because it is already very great.

So I am voting for the producers evolving the titles with upgrades, I don’t ‘prefer’ it but I’m fine with it because of previously mentioned reasons.

I am also ok with Daredevil chaning a bit because there’s still “True Social” which will fill in.

Feels like same evolve might happen with Beyond Limitless too.

Are you familiar with the previous version of Daredevil? How different or similar was it than true social?

I believe they are similar in action but True social was built for fast short term boost to use before events etc.

Also I think as the catalog and updates evolve the producers are refining what’s on offer so the changes they decide to bring to titles are helping everyone make easier clearer choices by making every title more unique and with more clearly defined goals.

First, let’s please refrain from swapping older versions and the such. Next, the new Daredevil has just as much socialization scripting, if not more than the original. The crafting stories element was added to assist the socialization, not replace it.

This is the same concept that applies to every product upgrade. The core goal remains the same, with new things added or reimagined.
