Alright everyone. I’m aware of the emotionally charged concerns about potential race/skin implications. Here in the USA, there can be a bias to think white people are more attractive because of their white skin. And that in communities where people have darker skin, there can be a bias that those with lighter skin are more attractive. When I go to an Indian restaurant, they have music videos playing constantly. A different one on each screen. Time and time again, yes I see it, the people on there seem to have light or lighter skin. So yes, there seem to be biases. If there are any sensitivities about this, I can understand because biases (at institutional levels, and even with some people) seem to be alive and well even though it’s 2022.

Now as for this thread, please everyone stop. I’m going to go back up here and edit.

Let’s get back to discussing the anticipated HERO.

I think I should add, I don’t think @RockyHandsome intended anything negative by this reference to a skin lightener. I’m going to modify it to a skin optimizer.

Alright so I went back and deleted a number of posts.

I did keep some because I do think there are some important cultural considerations in them because not everyone knows about biases within certain cultures that may exist. I’m also aware that some times people post things and the effect is different than what they had anticipated.

To state the obvious, there are many different people here. Skin differences are just one. Different countries. Different political ideas. Different genders. Different sexual orientations. Different ideas about what it is masculine or feminine. Different objectives for personal growth. Etc.

No one can possibly keep in mind each person’s perspective, even if it might seem obvious. The number of people who get on here and intend to offend is very small. If something comes up that needs attention, we have flags. And I looked over the flags and I’m glad people used them.

And we have one planet. Or in this case one forum. And we need to get along here to stay focused on the progress of oneself, our fellow forum members, and humanity as a whole.

Hero will i believe be a natural evolution of Spartan Apex without a shadow of a doubt. Call it modern day Spartan equipped to handle the challenges of the 21st century. Perhaps it will be renamed to Spartan New Dawn or Spartan The Modern Man.

I can definitely imagine that being a part of it. Id imagine it being for a big part also focussed on physical shifting each aspect of your body to its peak physical state though, as the HERO modules have for a large part not been fitness related necessairly.

I imagine its goal being somewhat to turn us into moden superheroes.

I do like the idea of the modern super hero however i ponder what it really means to be one ?. What ideals would a modern mortal super hero entail without buying into the holllywood image which is a fantasy.

Spartan Apex looks already an hero to me :sweat_smile: and it looks valid for modern times too.

For the physical part it seams to have all that a hero would have

It states

Profound physical shifting to ensure every part of your body is developed and strong

So I guess it also includes organs, glands, nervous and lymphatic systems etc…
If that’s not the case (cause it’s more centered on “structure”, bones, ligaments, muscles) it would be a nice addition, an exceptionally strong immune-system seems quite obvious for a mondern hero for eg.
