The funny thing is that I’m going through the same thing right now. I ran an entire cycle of Genesis + RoM + DR: LD. All three at 15 minutes loops. I completed the 21 day cycle but even after a 6 day washout I’m still feeling sleepy, tired and I’m lots of dreams every single night. It’s like a backlog of information is processing and just sucking my energy. For the next cycles, I’m going to cut down to 5 minute loops and stay there. I might be done with 15 minute loops.
@ksub I can deal with Genesis full loops but Emperor is a way different beast and I underestimated it for sure by thinking I was ready for 15-minute loops.
Tonight I had a strange dream in which I was going to a marriage (about some relatives I guess) but I didn’t make it on time because choosing the outfit & its items was very difficult. So there was some kind of healing surrounding decision-making, my current single status, and time efficiency too. However, the following dream I had was very pleasant & I was with my (dream) girlfriend/fiance and I felt an indescribable deep connection between us (soul mate level). We were preparing for another major event (I don’t remember if it was another marriage or else though) & I told her we would be sharing the bathroom to prepare quickly while enjoying her presence. So I think that dream was the solution to the first dream issues related to time efficiency, ideal romantic relationship & better organizational skills.
This morning I felt better & it was strange to play a title just for 1 minute (Emperor). However, I didn’t feel the strong pressure of the previous full loops, more uplifted & less tired than yesterday.
I’ve cut down from 15 minute loops to 5 minute loops and am getting good results plus having less negative type side effects from overloading. I always felt that if they’re made at 15 minutes then I’ll run them for 15 minutes to get best results but now I am changing my view on that. I only wish the subs were released in seperate files for 3 minutes, 5 minutes etc to make it feel more legit and remove the need to keep an eye on the time to stop the track.

What do you think is the best way to get lean and muscular with not much equipment? I have the diet down and am losing weight but I worry I’ll just look the same but smaller.
I have a mountain bike, treadmill, dumbbells and a barbell but no racks or bench or anything. I’ve been doing 3 days of uphill walking and then 1 day of strength workout with dumbbell overhead press, dumbbell rows, dumbbell squats, hip thrusts, push ups and curls. I do 1 set per exercise for as many as possible, usually getting about 20-25 reps per exercise. Is this plan retarded or do you think it will get results? Sorry to be that guy, but I see you’re a personal trainer

While I was training at the gym prior to the working shift a pretty woman in her 40s who is usually very responsive & quite teasing too, made fun of my Leg Press technique in a friendly but teasing way for as long I was doing that exercise. Also, she crossed my path very close to me while there was a lot of space just a few meters away. In the meantime, she was saying she forgot her eyeglasses & so she wasn’t sure what she was doing exercise-wise.

During the first half of my work shift my energy levels were lower than usual but during the second half everything went fine & I was able to bring some confidence & energy back to normal.

In the last 2 hours I saw a pretty girl with a big booty using the treadmill & whenever I was passing by her from behind (the line of the treadmills is facing the windows in the gym) I guess she was checking me out (my intuition told me that) from the glass reflection due to the darkness outside. So I purposefully avoided watching her because she would catch me & also to not show any signs of interest. However, after 20 or 30 minutes of ignoring her, while I was re-starting my control lap to check the clients out, she turned her face towards me while showing a pretty broad smiling face so wide that was quite unusual in my opinion (especially toward a stranger in a public space).
She then asked me to show her what was new in the gym (she wasn’t there for a long time apparently). So I led her to what she was looking for (some kettlebells) & after some words between us, I left her for another lap to check the other side of the weight room. When I got back to her she smiled at me & it was a green light to keep up with the conversation with her. In fact, she was chatty & she mirrored my body posture while facing her whole body towards me, then at some point, I cut the conversation to let her do some exercise.
Conclusion: that’s the second time I played with Emperor and then, the same day, something unexpected & unusual happens (pretty girls approaching me very boldly for guidance, assistance & quasi-gym tour requests).

My energy levels were back to normal & the time flew by faster in the gym than yesterday’s work shift.
My confidence was pretty strong too & I was able to interact with many clients in a positive, confident, fun but professional manner & with assertiveness. I felt like the gym was my domain. -
I did a functional training lesson for a new client & he was tired but glad to have done it. So I left another good professional impression I guess.

I received some more compliments about the job I’m doing there. Also, a middle-aged lady told me she was scared I left that job because she didn’t see me for 2 weeks. Another client told me I’m the best trainer in there & he’ll recommend my personal training service to some friends.

I did a Tabata circuit for 4 women (3 ladies & 1 pretty teen girl) who were not experienced at all exercise-wise, especially the teen girl who was highly uncoordinated. However, I was able to lead them with proper confidence while lightly joking & teasing to motivate & entertain them. In the end, I interacted with them with some more jokes & questions.

At the end of today’s 10-hour working shift I had to show a lot of authority to a kind of psycho 20s boy (he isn’t showing any sign of regret in his disrespectful behavior) to respect the closing time of the gym.
I think if I keep pushing the Emperor button something extremely pleasant is going to happen in that gym (or maybe in another public place) soon.
@driver 1 set per exercise per week is too low volume unless you push all of those to REAL muscular failure & decrease in a very effective & safe way your muscular ability to produce force (something that’s very hard to grasp unless someone knows what really means true failure, which is the hardest thing your body will experience = extreme discomfort). So it’s required some real mental toughness if want to experience that which is going to translate into muscle & strength gains.
I did my walking “experience” & I felt somehow different with both confidence & some insecurity coming up on the surface. Also, I caught several people watching me in a kind of curious way while I crossed the path with them. I guess there’s something interesting they detect when I walk or the way I show myself in public. In fact, a waitress/bartender twisted her body towards me in a close to unnatural posture (with 2 seconds of eye contact to check me out) while I was approaching the beach bar from the street behind her.

@Jouissance Pretty close to the 4-2-4 original Mike Mentzer’s cadence and more likely even closer to the SuperSlow style (much safer for the joints involved & for inroading deeper the target muscle).

Just weighed myself this morning and I lost 1 kg in 1 week…maybe I need to add more calories in because I’m underestimating my energy expenditure (especially after I added Emperor to the mix).
In other news, I had a pleasant dream in which I was seeing clearly my soulmate greeting me in the gym (as it was so REAL). In fact, that dream was so realistic that it was pretty hard to tell I was dreaming.
I think Genesis is pushing me toward that theme & finally attracting my soulmate as I’m getting mature enough emotionally to handle that kind of relationship successfully. Also, I’m listening to more music related to my teen years & so I guess I’m getting closer to my most authentic Self version.
EDIT: I didn’t lose 1 kg but only 350 gr, so it’s a good progress rate towards less BF (when I’m going to reach 15% BF I’ll go into maintenance mode).
My Tinnitus is getting worse, especially after listening to the loops (Masked format) so I need to either lower the volume or reduce the listening times to the minimum (1 minute) for both Genesis (which I’m listening to full loops) & Emperor. I don’t want to damage my hearing even more.
Current mood…I don’t listen to Harder genres anymore but today I enjoyed something my former self was quite addicted to…
In other news…I was thinking about the surge of inner power mixed with euphoric feelings I’m getting more & more if I let lose myself in the moment while working in the gym. Some people are changing their attitude towards me, maybe because they see I’m slowly evolving & getting more energetic with a nuance of subtle but positive domination. However, I’m chasing less & less people’s approval while being a proper human being at the same time.
In the next 2 weeks, I’m going to have the first 2 personal training clients set up & ready to go.
The last loop (Genesis) of the current cycle is done.
I gained some bodyweight this week & my muscular mass is increasing, while I’m getting stronger in the gym.
Yesterday I started some jaw exercises which I’m going to do daily. Also, I got better clothes for the gym & the upcoming personal training sessions to carry a better-looking professional image.
So this week I need to close on the 2 personal training clients no matter what.
Overall I’m taking daily actions on the main goals but I need to put more effort into mastering my thoughts which will be the real game-changer.
After experimenting with 30s micro-loops of Genesis & AsC I realized longer loops are better in my case & they give me more drive to do things (with a little bit of anxiety which could be interpreted positively = excitement).
Finally, I started with 2 personal training clients this week but I need to find more clients & I realized I have some fear of selling myself & my services because I don’t feel worthy to charge my time. So I feel the need to heal that with something more powerful & targeted at those issues: True Sell. I can approach pretty much every client I want in the gym & have a nice conversation (while leaving a good impression) with them but I’m weak on the selling part of the equation so it’s time to do something about it & get all the clients I deserve.
I’m going to introduce TS before the next Emperor loop tomorrow & I’m curious to see what kind of difference will make in my interactions.
Genesis + True Sell + Emperor should be a very powerful & effective combo I guess.
Here’s the thing…I didn’t feel any different after playing 1 True Sell full loop yesterday and today, but today at the gym 2 of the most attractive women I have ever seen in there, were both open for conversation after saying just a few words to them. The unusual thing is that they usually are pretty much closed off, however, this time they responded in a very open and friendly way. So I don’t know if it’s the Emperor effect or True Sell or the mix of both titles (I played full loops of both yesterday).
Another thing that I noticed is that when I was talking with them I wasn’t impressed by their beauty or attractiveness but I was seeing them as normal (beautiful) people without feeling inferior to them. Maybe they were more open to talking with me because subconsciously they didn’t feel like a mere sexual object.
In other news, I received several more compliments from clients.
One more client is on board with the personal training side of my job & I’m starting with him in a few hours.
Something noteworthy to mention from the last days:
- More energetic & powerful in giving instructions & leading the clients
- Some more compliments (especially from a client who keeps telling me I solved a pressing health issue for him by giving alternative exercises in a unique fashion)
- My manager gave us different working shifts & several (if not many) people asked me where I was in the meantime just because they hadn’t seen me in the last week or so
- It’s easier to interact with attractive girls in a professionally detached but fun & confident way
- Way less needy (talking about mindset)
