Suggestion for Custom Subliminal

Hi all,

Currently I work in a technical role at an SME (my title is Head of IT) and am responsible for everything related to IT (1st level support, server deployment, ERP deployments, e-mail, websites, etc.).

Because I don’t have a lot of formal education in this field (I’m a self-taught CIO :slight_smile: ) and don’t have many personal contacts, I chose to take the offensive and make myself visible on LinkedIn with two or three posts weekly. Now, after 3 months, it seems to be paying off: I got my first invitation from an executive search firm. They are looking to fill a senior role in my field. The role is a bit over my head, but since they contacted me, I must meet at least some of the criteria they’re looking for.

I don’t know if I’ll get this role. I expect to have at least a conversation with this headhunter, and I also expect to get more contacts of this kind. Long intro for one question:

I want to build a custom that helps me prepare for an executive role as CIO, Head of IT, etc., in a bigger firm (300 to 800 employees), possibly international. The custom should also address interviews with headhunters and HR personnel. If I move into executive roles, I expect to have interviews with owners, stakeholders, executive managers, etc., as well. The custom should help me navigate all of this and present myself in the best light possible and have conversations on equal terms.

For the cores, I thought Stark ZP and True Sell would be a good combo. Regarding the modules, I don’t have clear ideas yet, to be frank.

I thought about status modules like:

I would add Job Seeker to help with the interviews and Technology Prodigy fo help with the tech knowledge part of your work.

Hm, interesting suggestions. Two thoughts: Technological Prodigy would fit the stack better in a second phase, once I already have the desired position (but that will be another custom). And Job Seeker, hmm, this one is difficult to explain. As fitting as “Job Seeker” sounds for job interviews, it puts the emphasis more on the seeking, on me as a seeker. But I changed my paradigm in this regard a few weeks or months ago. I decided that I’m not a job seeker; I’m the person who will be found by the perfect job. I’m the one who will be approached. That’s why I put significant effort into content creation and personal branding.

One thing I like about your suggestion is that it led me to another module that fits my thought pattern perfectly: Instant Business Tactician. Because I see myself as an asset and my next job as a business opportunity, for me but also for my next employer, I will handle all of it like a business opportunity and not as an employer/employee situation.

I think I found my stack. I removed Synergy: One above all, because that would fit the next stage of my journey, when I have the new position and need to lead.

All other thinks stayed the same, but added Instant Business Tactician.
