To me, this lands like someone who is emotionally distraught and unregulated, caught between their hurt, their public image as a non-conventionalist, and someone who actually showed up to that event as a form of what… self-betrayal or irony lol?
Perhaps he seems existentially nihilistic but not in the Nietzschean sense of reaching the cheerfulness of one’s value creation. He has no real humor, perspective, love here.
He is speaking like someone trying to sound like they were coming from a non-dual perspective
but not from that actual realization.
Like someone with a strong intellectual belief about our reality but with no real understanding or realization of it.
