Looks like the edge of a ‘k’ to me.

As in ‘makes you just want to save him’

So, I’d guess it’s ‘[Something] that makes you just want to save him’

That fits with the previous line:
'[Something] that says, “you’re alive.”

Sounds pretty Hero-ey to me.

Youight be onto something. I just zoomed in and compared it to the other s in the picture. It’s not an s.
I eliminated the k before because on my keyboard it has a different shape. But depending on the font, it could very easily be a k.
And your explanation is also very coherent.

The font seems to be a modded typewriter. Something like an Andrew Typewriter, but without the patina.

IMO second line starts with an …te, so maybe “mate”? Regarding third line, I agree with @Malkuth, it looks like a k, so “makes”.

Sounds like Heartsong to me.
