Every title that contains wealth scripting will be upgraded. If anyone hasn’t guessed it yet, NFTW will have LOTS of surprise upgrade drops and the such.
Also, I mentioned Peaky Blinders and Thomas Shelby as amazing character references to watch the TV show, if you’re interested in narratives similar to Neuvo Vesper’s… that was just based on the “introduction” of Vesper a few days ago, not the story itself.
Funny how he made his money off of horse gambling and so
The Thomas Shelby similarities just KEEP COMING… In the show, Thomas first makes his fortune in ways related to horse gambling, then starts to try and enter the “new rich” by having his own thoroughbred horse to race, for no other reason than the pedigree of owning a horse. It doesn’t make him welcome in the “old money” club necessarily, but he tries, certainly.
There are EXACT QUOTES in Peaky Blinders where people talk about how all the money in the world still won’t get you considered as “elite” if you weren’t born in the right family.
Peaky Blinders was already my favorite show now it’s my Neuvo Favorite all over again
Well, I assure you, I’ve never seen Peaky Blinders – whether anyone wants to believe that or not.
I got the horse racing scenario from a conversation I overheard in a bar in Boston some fifteen years ago. There were these middle aged men – allegedly billionaires related to a prominent banking family (you’ve heard the name, let it be) – going on and on about this, and it blew my mind. That was one of the first times I realized just how differently some of us lived. Even the way they spoke was just so… King Arthur.
But any rags to riches story will follow that same archetype. Rough childhood in a rough area stumbles across an idea, gets push back from the powers to be, but overcomes.
Unfortunately @Lion I have no specific fascination with Thomas Shelby as a character… the show is mainly just incredible script writing. No Thomas Shelby stacks for me. Still working on becoming musashi.
With that being said… I’m currently working on becoming musashi by listening to limitless executive to get my discipline up to godly levels. I can still feel the bloom of HERO and I know it’ll be back in my stack soon. So Neuvo + HERO is an interesting idea.
TBH I’m not trying to go back intro entrepreneurship atm, I like closing and selling, so I don’t know if Nuevo will be in my stack, just depending on how heavily it emphasizes innovation compared to producing. Maybe I’m too HOM for Nuevo haha.
@SaintSovereign any conflicts stacking HOM and Nuevo? Old money principles aside, HOM is the godmode sales & connector sub IMHO
