I know this is kind of a dead topic, but I thought it was interesting seeing Brackeys, one of the primordial Unity tutorial creators who recently made the decision to stop making videos for a while, saying basically the same thing as I said about FOSS for the Gamedev community. His statement and the responses to it shows this sentiment is echoed in a lot of the gamedev community.

He’s quoting a famous story from the Christian gospels:
Matthew 19:14, Mark 10:14 and Luke 18:16.
All three verses are referencing the same incident in which Jesus honored the open-hearted nature of children as worthy of emulation and in which he admonished his followers to stop turning away people who brought their children with them when coming to learn from him.
Not quite the same point that Saint was making. But also not very weird when taken in context.
