Is there any sub which heals by detaching you from the past, so it is easier for you to take action? I am so stuck in my past almost like it gives me familiarity and this is stopping me.

Isn’t Rebirth for that specifically? Not to mention it is also going to get a upgrade soon.

I know your your question is for saint…

but me personally have had things dug up from my past to deal with running DR:LD. As they are limiting my expressiveness and feeling emotions. :ok_hand:

I find Genesis really good for this. Detaching from the past becomes easier when you build new experiences.

I also find Genesis really pulled out the emotional anchor that kept me from changing. I can’t really describe this one, it’s just a different level of understanding on an emotional level.

It probably also have something to do with my work. I run both DR:LD and Genesis right now.

No I wanted to keep it general but also wanted Saint’s opinion

We don’t try to “detach” you from the past, as that’s part of who you are. It’s not a subliminal producer’s job to try and force that. Instead, we attempt to help you reconcile with your past and push forward in life in a more positive way.

That being said, there’s a lot of titles that can help. Limit Destroyer, for example. Revelation of Spirit on the other end.

Heyo,

You still game deving, Saint?

Yes, albeit slowly. And Unity’s latest announcement pissed me off, so I’m waiting to see if I need to switch to Unreal.

If you haven’t heard, just Google Unity. The backlash has been fierce.

Really bad this happened, I do remember making some games on Unity and I recall really enjoying the terrain feature and prefabs. You go the unity store get some prefabs and enjoy. I remember not being great with coding at that time, never understood the Java script for FPS controller lmao

This is what I was going to talk about. You’ve seen all the higher-ups sell all their stocks in the last six months before this announcement.

Also, people have created tools for specific games to spoof installs, which can be used for malicious intent.

It seems the world power is moving slow towards China :upside_down_face:. Not sure how it actually happens when the shift is finalized.

“Hey! How about those Mets?!”

This is “Madara,” or “CraigHodges” or whatever fake name he’s using now, angry because we won’t refund his fraudulent orders made under fake accounts to bypass the blacklist. We won’t post all our obvious proof yet, but if he keeps the nonsense up, I have no problem exposing him.

Contrary to his nonsensical claims, we are in good standing with Stripe, PayPal and Zip. You are all free to use the payment processors as you please. His thieving ass is not.

Those of you who were salty that I posted “we will fight you,” this is why I did it and why I’ll continue to say it. If you don’t stand for something, you won’t stand for anything. What would we look like, creating programs like HERO Origins to help empower people stand up against injustice, and then back down to this type of crap.

Remember, just a few days ago, we caught him on the forum as “@CraigHodges,” posting this:

We have the definitive proof that this is the same individual, but even though he’s being a nuisance, we aren’t willing to post that yet. But, just compare the writing. Most of you flagged him anyway and reported him as a Madara alt.

@SaintSovereign Sorry this is a non-related question. I’m really curious, do you know if using state change anchors affects subs in any way? The type I’m on about is where the anchor is installed in trance. (Had this installed way before subs) Many thanks

I had just posted about that on my Alexandria thread recently.

This really brings home the importance of Open Source to the future of development. Not just in the sense of code auditability but more in the sense of the GPL/MIT/Apache/Creative Commons licenses for third party helper libraries and the whole bundling/complexity thing.

But I suppose it also goes back to choice of language (most Unity development happens in C#). There are so many good free libraries that do part of what Unity does. Rapier3D for physics simulation and colliders. hecs for a simple entity component system. Standards like openxr and Vulkan and libraries that expose that to developers. The thing is developers go for what is familiar and proven and as a result discard other perfectly good options due to complexity, lack of trust of the libraries, or learning curve. If the people running game development companies spent more time reading code and seeing what new implementations are out there, I think the Unity debacle would be a big nothing burger, or at least less significant. Its only because Unity has been allowed to get so big and popular that the fall is appalling.

I’m starting training for my new job tomorrow. For some reason, on and off all day today. I’ve been thinking I should learn about game dev.

I’m staying in an extended stay type motel/hotel where you pay by the week.

Thought it might be cool to make a shooter game modeled after the motel. To test my skillz.
